The so-called Swiss Goldcoast (Ger. Goldküste) is the name given to the lower eastern shore of the Lake of Zürich. This prosperous region lies on the north-eastern shore of the lake and thus benefits from the evening sun. The Goldcoast is noted for its low tax rate and high property prices. The sunny south-western slopes of the Pfannenstiel mountain are given over to wine growing. The opposite shore, however, is derisively dubbed ‘the Sniffle Coast’ (Swiss German dialect ‘Pfnüselküste’) because its topography and north-easterly aspect mean that it lies in the shadow of its own mountains – a state of affairs which often occurs in the early winter evenings and in contrast to the Goldcoast, which remains bathed in sunshine. The following municipalities are situated on the Goldcoast: Küsnacht, Zollikon, Erlenbach, Herrliberg, Meilen, Uetikon am See, Männedorf and Stäfa. All of the above are within the district of Meilen (Meilen District). The rest of the right shore of the lake is sometimes also referred to as being on the Goldcoast.

The C. G. Jung House Museum (German Museum Haus C. G. Jung) is a historic house museum. It was the residence of the Swiss psychiatrist, psychologist, and essayist Carl Jung as well as his wife, psychologist Emma Jung-Rauschenbach. It is located at Seestrasse 228, Küsnacht, Switzerland, next to Lake Zürich.Built in 1908, the house was restored a century later thanks to the Foundation C. G. Jung Küsnacht. In 2017 it was transformed into a museum, and opened to the public in May 2018.

Küsnacht (German pronunciation: [ˈkʏsnaxt]) is a municipality in the district of Meilen in the canton of Zurich in Switzerland.

The Kantonsschule Küsnacht, former Seminar Küsnacht, is a Kantonsschule, or Mittelschule in the municipality of Küsnacht, Canton Zurich. It was founded in 1832 and is the oldest school for teacher-education in the canton as well as a very selective school. In 2009, the school was visited by around 510 students. The current head teacher is Corinne Elsener. The school offers a musisches Profil, with a strong focus on music, and a neusprachliches Profil, with the focus being on modern languages, such as Italian and Spanish. The Kantonsschule Küsnacht offers a lot of extra curricular activities for their students. People can learn dance, parkour and take classes to prepare the numerus clausus. Next to that the student have the possibility to brew beer in their fifth year at the Kantonsschule. The high school is also famous for making their own wine. Behind the main building is a big field with a lot of grapes and the student cut the grapes that will later be made into a good, local wine.

Herrliberg is a municipality in the district of Meilen in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland.

Oberrieden railway station is a railway station in Switzerland, situated on the banks of Lake Zurich in the town of Oberrieden. The station is located on the Lake Zurich left bank railway line and is served by line S8 of the Zurich S-Bahn.The station has two side platforms, serving the two tracks passing through the station. The principal station building is to the west of the railway, whilst on the opposite side of the tracks is the goods shed, dating from 1874 and a class B regional property in the Swiss Inventory of Cultural Property of National and Regional Significance.Oberrieden station should not be confused with the nearby, but higher level, Oberrieden Dorf railway station, which is on the Thalwil–Arth-Goldau railway. The two stations are approximately 400 metres (1,300 ft) apart on foot.
