Küsnachter Tobel

Küsnacht (German pronunciation: [ˈkʏsnaxt]) is a municipality in the district of Meilen in the canton of Zurich in Switzerland.

The Kantonsschule Küsnacht, former Seminar Küsnacht, is a Kantonsschule, or Mittelschule in the municipality of Küsnacht, Canton Zurich. It was founded in 1832 and is the oldest school for teacher-education in the canton as well as a very selective school. In 2009, the school was visited by around 510 students. The current head teacher is Corinne Elsener. The school offers a musisches Profil, with a strong focus on music, and a neusprachliches Profil, with the focus being on modern languages, such as Italian and Spanish. The Kantonsschule Küsnacht offers a lot of extra curricular activities for their students. People can learn dance, parkour and take classes to prepare the numerus clausus. Next to that the student have the possibility to brew beer in their fifth year at the Kantonsschule. The high school is also famous for making their own wine. Behind the main building is a big field with a lot of grapes and the student cut the grapes that will later be made into a good, local wine.

The C. G. Jung House Museum (German Museum Haus C. G. Jung) is a historic house museum. It was the residence of the Swiss psychiatrist, psychologist, and essayist Carl Jung as well as his wife, psychologist Emma Jung-Rauschenbach. It is located at Seestrasse 228, Küsnacht, Switzerland, next to Lake Zürich.Built in 1908, the house was restored a century later thanks to the Foundation C. G. Jung Küsnacht. In 2017 it was transformed into a museum, and opened to the public in May 2018.

The C. G. Jung Institute, Zürich (German: C. G. Jung-Institut Zürich) was founded in Küsnacht, Switzerland, in 1948 by the psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung, the founder of Analytical psychology (more commonly called Jungian psychology). Marie-Louise von Franz and Jolande Jacobi were also active in the foundation and early work of the institute. The institute was founded in 1948 to provide training and conduct research in Analytical psychology and psychotherapy. Jung led the institute until 1961, the year of his death. The library of the institute holds around 15,000 books and periodicals related to Jungian psychology. Several other organizations named the C.G. Jung Institute exist around the world, e.g. in Los Angeles.

The ruins of Wulp Castle (German: Ruine Wulp or Burg Wulp) is a castle located besides Küsnachter Tobel in the municipality of Küsnacht and the canton of Zurich in Switzerland. It was built during the high Middle Ages. Despite this, the castle is documented only in a few found texts, and much of the castle's history is not known. However, in the chronicle of Muri Abbey, a castle that could perhaps fit Ruine Wulp's description - a castle in proximity to Zurich and Lake Zurich - was mentioned, but this has not been confirmed by other findings and is mere speculation. Also, a person named Eghart of Küsnacht was mentioned in the chronicle and several other documents to be the owner of the castle in the late 11th century.
