The Paris Île-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (French: Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de région Paris - Île-de-France) is a French chamber of commerce that supports businesses in Paris and the Île-de-France, created on 1 January 2013 through a merger of several smaller chambers of commerce.

The quartier du Faubourg-du-Roule or 30th quarter of Paris is a 79.7 hectare administrative quarter of Paris, in its 8th arrondissement. Its borders are marked by place de l'Étoile, place de la République-de-l'Équateur, avenue Matignon and the rond-point des Champs-Élysées-Marcel-Dassault. In 2004 it merged with the "Patrimoine photographique" to create the association of the Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume, funded by the Ministry of Culture and directed by Alain-Dominique Perrin. Its archives are preserved and can be consulted at the Archives nationales.

Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild is a hôtel particulier located at 11 rue Berryer in the 8th arrondissement in Paris, France. It is a former residence of Adèle von Rothschild (1843–1922), the widow of Salomon James de Rothschild of the Rothschild banking family of France. Designed by Leon Ohnet and constructed between 1872 and 1878, it is located in the heart of Paris, near the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. On her death in 1922, the Jewish Adèle von Rothschild bequeathed the property to the French government fine arts administration rather than to her only child, Hélène de Rothschild, whom she had disinherited for marrying a Roman Catholic. The hotel was the site of a presidential assassination on 6 May 1932. French President Paul Doumer was at a book fair in the hotel when a mentally unstable Russian émigré, Paul Gorguloff, opened fire at him. Doumer died the following morning. Today the building is home to the Centre national de la photographie and its renowned garden is open to the public. Aviation Club de France was a gambling club in central Paris, France. The club opened in 1907 and was widely regarded as a classic gambling site. In 2005, the Grand Prix de Paris leg of the World Poker Tour took place at the Aviation Club.The main games played at the Aviation Club were: baccarat, poker and backgammon.The club was closed in 2014, after a raid by the police, and placed in liquidation in February 2015.

The Center for Diplomatic and Strategic Studies (French: Centre d'Études Diplomatiques et Stratégiques, CEDS) is an accredited postgraduate school and a think tank in diplomacy and international relations headquartered in Paris. CEDS is the graduate and doctoral school of the Écoles des hautes études internationales et politiques (HEI-HEP), founded in 1899 by Émile Durkheim, Charles Seignobos, and Romain Rolland. In 1986, Pascal Chaigneau (HEC School of Management and Paris Descartes University), initiated CEDS as a specialized graduate school for officers, diplomats, and future executives. It is accredited as a Premier College by the (Accreditation Service for International Colleges.Initially a non-academic institution reserved to serving diplomats and either generals or senior officers, it also admits commissioned officers at large, executives, and senior civil servants (hauts fonctionnaires) linked to the diplomatic service. Among others, its Greek branch has educated the commanding officer of the Greek Navy's Frigate Command between him attending the Naval Postgraduate School and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Le Queen is a nightclub in Paris, located on the avenue des Champs-Élysées. Once a gay nightclub, Le Queen was formerly known as "Le Central" until its closing in early 1991. It was more or less the sequel to the Parisian club "Le Boy", as it was owned by the same person. The original "Directeur Artistique" was David Guetta. DJs at that time (1993–95) included Guetta, Rony, Claude Monnet as well as many guest DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Derrick May, Sasha and many more. DJ Dimitri from Paris helped popularize the club with a weekly club-night called Paris is Burning, which opened Le Queen up to a substantial heterosexual following, changing it from a gay club to a mega club.Current resident DJs include Offer Nissim, Paul Van Dyk, Joel Lovenski, Deep Dish, Lucy, KFK, and Michael Kaiser.
