Northgate Station (shopping mall)

The Kraken Community Iceplex is the practice facility and team headquarters of the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL). It opened on September 10, 2021, and is located within the Northgate Station mixed-use development in the Northgate neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. The facility will also serve as the training center of PWHL Seattle, a Professional Women's Hockey League franchise slated to begin play in the 2025-26 season.

Northgate is a neighborhood in north Seattle, Washington, named for and surrounding Northgate Mall, the first covered mall in the United States. Its east-west principal arterials are NE Northgate Way and 130th Street, and its north-south principal arterials are Roosevelt Way NE and Aurora Avenue N (SR 99). Minor arterials are College Way-Meridian Avenue N, 1st, 5th, and 15th avenues NE. Interstate 5 runs through the district. Besides the eponymous mall, the most characteristic distinctions of the area are North Seattle College (NSC) and the south fork of the Thornton Creek watershed and Seattle Kraken Iceplex center.

Northgate is a light rail and bus station in the Northgate neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, United States. It is the northern terminus of Line 1 on Sound Transit's Link light rail system. The transit center, located adjacent to the Northgate Mall (now named Northgate Station), has four bus bays served by 22 routes. The station also has parking for 1,525 vehicles. The transit center opened in June 1992 as a major hub for North Seattle buses and was prioritized as a light rail terminus during planning later in the decade. Construction on the light rail extension to Northgate began in 2012 and station construction began in 2017. The extension of Line 1, including Northgate station and a pedestrian bridge over Interstate 5, opened on October 2, 2021. Northgate will remain the northern terminus of Line 1 until the Lynnwood Link extension is opened in 2024. It was once proposed as a bus rapid transit terminal and is an area with potential for additional transit-oriented development.

Green Lake Jewelry Works is a Seattle jewelry designer, manufacturer, and retailer. Selling mostly custom made jewelry, the company is known for a customer experience of personalized contact with traditional artisans that is profitably scaled up to a relatively large business operation, made possible by its use of computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM), in combination with effective use of e-commerce technology. They maintain a relatively small physical inventory that is augmented by a "virtual inventory" of renderings of their offerings. The company's sales volume grew quickly from about $2 million per year in the years 2003–2005 to over $7 million for 2006, passing $10+ million by 2018.

Seattle Community Access Network (SCAN) is one of the Public, educational, and government access (PEG) cable television channels in Seattle, Washington. The station provides camera equipment, television studios and training that allow residents of King County to create and cablecast their own television shows for a small fee. The station is carried on Comcast and Broadstripe cable systems in King County and the greater Puget Sound region except for six cities covered by Puget Sound Access.

North Seattle College (NSC or North Seattle) is a public college in Seattle, Washington. It is one of the three colleges comprising the Seattle Colleges District and part of the Washington Community and Technical Colleges system.Founded in 1970, NSC is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, and offers associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, university transfer, and certificate programs as well as continuing education and college preparation programs. The Seattle Community Colleges District Board of Trustees voted unanimously in March 2014 to change the name of the District to Seattle Colleges and to change the name of the college to North Seattle College.

Maple Leaf is a mostly residential neighborhood located in northeast Seattle.

Seattle Jewish Community School, (SJCS), is an independent, egalitarian Jewish day school from kindergarten through 5th grade, located in North Seattle, Washington, USA. The school is accredited by NWAIS (Northwest Association of Independent Schools), a member of the Washington Federation of Independent Schools, and a member of PRIZMAH Center for Jewish Day Schools.

UW Medical Center - Northwest (formerly Northwest Hospital & Medical Center) is a 281-bed hospital in Seattle, Washington. It was built in 1960 and became part of the UW Medicine system in 2010. Prior to the merger, a 1997 agreement had already made Northwest the home for a UW Medicine cardiac surgery program.

Licton Springs or North College Park is a neighborhood in the informal Northgate district of North Seattle. It is bounded by Interstate 5 to the east, beyond which is Maple Leaf neighborhood and the Northgate Mall; Aurora Avenue N (SR 99) to the west, beyond which is Greenwood; N 85th Street to the south, beyond which is Green Lake, and N Northgate Way to the north, beyond which is Haller Lake.

Pinehurst is a neighborhood in the Northgate area of Seattle, Washington, United States. It is bounded by NE 145th Street to the north, NE Northgate Way to the south, I-5 to the west, and Lake City Way to the east. These boundaries were determined by the Pinehurst Community Council. Pinehurst's northern boundary of NE 145th Street makes Pinehurst one of the northernmost neighborhoods in the city of Seattle. Pinehurst has two neighborhood parks, Pinehurst Playfield and Pinehurst Pocket Park, and the neighborhood is bounded on the north by Jackson Park and Thornton Creek Park #1. Pinehurst is also the home to a model natural drainage system, the Pinehurst Green Grid.

Northacres Park is a 20.7-acre (84,000 m2) public park located in the Haller Lake neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, at the corner of Interstate 5 and N.E. 130th Street. It incorporates a large forested area with trails, a picnic area, a baseball diamond and soccer field, and an off-leash dog area. The park's playground and wading pool were remodeled and reopened in 2012. They include two play areas with equipment for children of different ages as well as a spray park. The park is also the site of one of only two remaining Civil Defense towers in the city, erected in 1954 to support a Chrysler Air-raid Siren. The siren, listed by Guinness World Records as the loudest ever constructed, is no longer operational.
