Milton House is a heritage-listed villa at 50 McDougall Street, Milton, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was built from c. 1852. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

It is also known as St Francis' Theological College Chapel and Chapel of the Holy Spirit. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

Old Bishopsbourne is a heritage-listed house at 233 Milton Road, Milton, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Benjamin Backhouse and built from 1865 to 1959. It is also known as St Francis Theological College and Bishopsbourne. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

Milton Courts (now Frew Park) was a tennis venue located in Milton, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The complex consisted of 19 hard courts and four grass courts. The main arena seated 7,000 people and opened in 1915. Robert Dickson Alison Frew was the president of the Queensland Lawn Tennis Association (later Tennis Queensland) from 1910 to 1930. He was the driving force behind the creation of the tennis centre. It hosted eight Australian Open/Championships, including the first tournament where professionals were allowed in 1969. In addition, it staged three Davis Cup finals, in 1958, 1962, and 1967. English rock band The Rolling Stones performed at the venue during their 1973 Pacific Tour on 14 February 1973. The venue closed in 1999 because of heavy financial losses by Tennis Queensland. The land was sold in 2002 and the complex demolished.In 2014, the site was redeveloped by the Brisbane City Council as Frew Park, a combined park and tennis centre. Frew Park was opened on 29 November 2014 and is named after Robert Frew. Frew Park is made up of Roy Emerson Tennis Courts, Wendy Turnbull Green, Fay Muller Rebound Wall and is also home of the Stefan Tennis Racket. It is a key part of the Brisbane Tennis Trail. Brisbane hairdresser Stefan Ackerie had rescued his 7-metre (23 ft) tennis racquet icon (based on the Aldila brand) that was originally over the Milton Tennis Centre when it was demolished (he had sponsored the Queensland Tennis Open competition at that site) and 15 years later in June 2014 had it re-erected over the Frew Park.

Toowong FC is an Australian football (soccer) club based in Auchenflower, Queensland, Australia. The club was established in 1921, and currently plays in the Football Brisbane Men's Premier League (and reserves), Women's Capital League and City League competitions. The club also has junior teams for all ages with a strong focus on female participation.

Davies Park is a sporting venue in the suburb of West End in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is located at the corner of Jane St, Montague Road & Riverside Drive, West End. It is the home ground of the Souths Logan Magpies, a rugby league team that competes in the Queensland Cup.

The Green Flea Markets are held every Saturday morning in Davies Park, West End, Queensland (Australia). The Market site is home to a number of giant fig trees which have recently become infected with a fungal disease (Phellinus noxius) that is spreading all over Queensland. This is particularly interesting as the treatment of the trees is threatening the existence of this unique market. The Green Flea Markets have been run for over six years by creator Peter Hackworth, whose licence expired in early 2009. The Brisbane City Council has since awarded the markets to Sydney-based events management company Blue Sky, who are also responsible for the South Bank markets in Brisbane as well as the Manly and Opera House markets in Sydney. Concerns have been raised by market goers and local community groups that the markets could lose their distinctive West End feel.

Astrea is a heritage-listed duplex (building) at 19 Bank Street, West End, Queensland, Australia. It was built c. 1888 for Fedder Jensen. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

The Go Between Bridge, formerly known as the Hale Street Link, is a toll bridge for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists over the Brisbane River in inner-city Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The bridge connects Merivale and Cordelia Streets in West End to Hale Street and the Inner City Bypass at Milton. It is Brisbane's first inner-city traffic bridge in 40 years and carries around 12,000 vehicles per day. The bridge opened to traffic in the early hours on 5 July 2010 and is now operated by Transurban Queensland.The Go Between Bridge is named after the popular Australian indie rock band The Go-Betweens, which was formed in Brisbane. The bridge is part of Campbell Newman's TransApex transport plan. It extends the Inner City Bypass across the Brisbane River. A charity concert featuring Robert Forster from the Go-Betweens and other singers was held on 25 June, followed by a community open day on 4 July 2010.
