The Royal West Sussex Hospital is a former hospital and Grade II* listed building in Chichester, West Sussex, England.

Chichester Festival Theatre is a theatre and Grade II* listed building situated in Oaklands Park in the city of Chichester, West Sussex, England. Designed by Philip Powell and Hidalgo Moya, it was opened by its founder Leslie Evershed-Martin in 1962. The smaller and more intimate Minerva Theatre was built nearby in 1989. The inaugural Artistic Director was Sir Laurence Olivier, and it was at Chichester that the first National Theatre company was formed. Chichester's productions would transfer to the National Theatre's base at the Old Vic in London. The opening productions in 1962 were: The Chances by John Fletcher (first production 1638) which opened on 3 July; The Broken Heart (1633), by John Ford, opened 9 July; Uncle Vanya (1896), by Anton Chekov, opened 16 July. Among the actors in the opening season were: Lewis Casson, Fay Compton, Joan Greenwood, Rosemary Harris, Kathleen Harrison, Keith Michell, André Morell, John Neville, Laurence Olivier, Joan Plowright, Michael Redgrave, Athene Seyler, Sybil Thorndike and Peter Woodthorpe. The Festival Season usually runs from April to October and includes productions from classics to contemporary writing and musicals, reaching an audience of 230,000. Productions originated at Chichester frequently transfer to London or tour nationally and internationally. A range of additional events is designed to add to the experience of visiting the theatre, including performances, cabarets, family days, tours and talks. Through the winter months, the Theatre presents touring productions and a Christmas show mounted by Chichester Festival Youth Theatre. The Theatre runs a large and active Learning, Education and Participation programme for all ages; its Youth Theatre is one of the largest in the country, with over 800 members. The Theatre is a registered charity and is chaired by Mark Foster. Daniel Evans has been the artistic director since July 2016, sharing the leadership of the theatre with Executive Director Kathy Bourne.

Campuses are based in the city of Chichester and the nearby coastal resort of Bognor Regis and an associate campus for commercial music on the Isle of Wight.The University of Chichester has 14 departments, with specialisms including Humanities, Sport, Musical Theatre, acting and Education. Its heritage stretches back into the nineteenth century when, in 1839, Bishop Otter College was established. The Otter Gallery and its Bishop Otter Art Collection are also listed with the International Committee for Museums and Collections.Eleanor Hipwell was head of art at Bishop Otter College and acquired three paintings from an exhibition held at the Victoria and Albert Museum in order to display them at the university. When Miss K. E. Murray was appointed as a new principal, she along with Eleanor Hipwell's successor, Sheila McCririck, developed a collection of contemporary British art that would inform and inspire students. The Collection is still held intact by The Bishop Otter Trust, and includes work by important 20th Century artists such as Patrick Heron, Stanley Spencer, Henry Moore, Paul Nash, Mary Fedden, Sandra Blow, Jill Bray, Ivon Hitchens, and John Hitchens.The University of Chichester closed the Otter Gallery permanently in October 2018, despite public protests and attempts to save it.

The Chichester to Silchester Way is a Roman Road between Chichester in South-East England, which as Noviomagus was capital of the Regni, and Silchester or Calleva Atrebatum, capital of the Atrebates. The road had been entirely lost and forgotten, leaving no Saxon place names as clues to its existence, until its chance discovery through aerial photography in 1949. Only 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) of the 62 kilometres (39 mi) long road remain in use.

Brandy Hole Copse is a 6.5-hectare (16-acre) Local Nature Reserve on the western outskirts of Chichester in West Sussex. It is owned and managed by Chichester District Council. Part of it is a Scheduled Monument, Chichester Dyke.This site has broadleaved and coniferous woodland, open water, marshland, heath, tall fern and herbs. Fauna includes pipistrelle bats.There is access from Brandy Hole Lane and the Centurion Way runs through the site.
