The Gwangalli Beach (Korean: 광안리 해수욕장) or Gwangan Beach is a beach in Busan, South Korea. It is located at Gwangan 2(i)-dong (formerly in Gwangan-ri), Suyeong-gu, Busan Metropolitan City, west of Haeundae Beach. It sits inside a cove spanned by the Gwangan Bridge and covers 82,000 square meters over a length of 1.4 km and a width of 25 to 110 metres, in a curved in a half-moon shape with fine sand. Adjacent are alleys with restaurants, coffee shops and nightclubs. Because of its popularity, city officials are pushing for improving water quality around the beaches.The beach is near the Busan Yachting Center used for the sailing events of the 1988 Summer Olympics.For the 2018 film Black Panther, a car chase scene which required over 150 cars and 700 people was filmed in the Gwangalli Beach area.

Busan Japanese School (釜山日本人学校, Korean: 부산일본인학교), formerly known in English as Pusan Japanese School (PJS), is a Japanese international school in Suyeong District, Busan, South Korea, 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from central Busan, and in proximity to Gwangalli Beach (a.k.a. Gwangan Beach). The Busan Japanese School is the Japanese overseas school that is physically closest to Japan itself.It was established on October 1, 1975 (Showa 50).In 2013 the school had 13 teachers teaching 47 students, with 38 in elementary school and nine in junior high school. By 2017 the student population was declining as Japanese companies sent fewer employees abroad in general and as the economy declined in Busan; Japanese companies by that time preferred assigning employees to Seoul.

Kyungsung University is a private university in Busan, South Korea. It is located in the district of Nam-gu, southwest of the famous Haeundae beach. The campus is located near Kyungsung University-Pukyong National University Station on Line 2. The university was established by the late Reverend Dr. Kim Gil-Chang, a pioneer of Christianity in Korea. The university was originally called Kyungnam Teacher's College and established in 1955 under the ideals of Christian love and service, In 1979 the school was re-organized and renamed Pusan Industrial University. At the time of the founding of Pusan Industrial University, the General Construction Committee began work on expanding and improving the quality of the university's facilities. As a result, the university received official sanctioning as a general university in September, 1983. The name of the university was changed to Kyungsung University in 1988 during the process of becoming an international university which can fulfill the needs of today's society. The university has 10 undergraduate colleges (Liberal Arts, Law and Politics, Commerce and Economics, Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, Arts, Theology, Multimedia, and Chinese) encompassing 7 different faculties and 54 departments at the time of 2011. There are seven graduate schools (General, International Management, Multimedia, Education, Social Welfare, Clinical Pharmacy, and Digital Design). In addition, seven affiliated organizations and seven affiliated research institutes have been established to aid teaching and research. Kyungsung University's 700 employees and over 13,000 students are all working together to achieve the school's educational goals. Since 2002, the university has held a regional conference between South Korea and China regarding sustainable development of the Northeast Asia region. The Kyungsung University Museum has been involved in the excavation of important regional archaeological sites. In the 1990s, the university museum was responsible for excavating the Daeseong-dong site, a protohistoric cemetery Gimhae with high-status burials from the Proto–Three Kingdoms Period.

Pukyong National University (PKNU; Korean: 국립부경대학교) is a national university in Busan, South Korea, formed in 1996. The university has two campuses, Daeyeon-dong and Yongdang-dong, situated near the coastal district of Nam-gu. PKNU has a traditional focus on fisheries sciences and other maritime fields, and has extensive facilities for Marine and Technology studies. The school's symbol mascot is anthropomorphic Moby Dick, "Baek Kyung-i". The school name was changed through a vote in August 2021.

The Gwangandaegyo (Korean: 광안대교) or Diamond Bridge is a suspension bridge located in Busan, South Korea. It connects Haeundae District to Suyeong District. The road surface is about 6,500 meters long, with the bridge as a whole spanning 7,420 meters. It is the second longest bridge in the country after the Incheon Bridge. Construction began in 1994 and concluded in December 2002, with a total cost of 789.9 billion won.[1] The bridge opened temporarily in September and October 2002 for the 2002 Asian Games. However, it was not officially opened until January 2003.[2]

Palate (Korean: 팔레트) is a fine dining restaurant in Busan, South Korea. It first opened in December 2019. In February 2024, the first year the Michelin Guide was issued for Busan, the restaurant received its first Michelin Star. The head chef is Kim Jae-hoon, a Busan native. Kim started to work in restaurants at age 25. He moved to study and work in Australia in 2011. He would spend seven years there, and returned to South Korea afterwards. Before opening Palate, he worked as a sous chef at Zero Complex, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Seoul. The restaurant reportedly opened a month before the COVID-19 pandemic hit South Korea. The restaurant reportedly faced difficulties due to this. The restaurant reportedly combines flavors from Western and East Asian culinary traditions. The building reportedly faces out onto the city's Gwangan Bridge.

Millak Station (Korean: 민락역; Hanja: 民樂驛) is a station on the Busan Metro Line 2 in Suyeong-dong, Suyeong District, Busan, South Korea.

Suyeong District (Korean: 수영구) is a district (gu) in central Busan, South Korea. It has a population density of about 17,768 inhabitants per square kilometer (46,020/sq mi). Suyeong-gu was created in 1995 following its separation from Nam-gu. It is border in the North-East by the Suyeonggang River. The name 'Suyeong' came from 'Gyeongsang JwaSuyeong', means navy command of Gyeongsang left area (stand at Seoul and see south, this area is left side). The line 2 of Busan Subway runs through Suyeong-gu with 5 stations, from Millak to Namcheon. The southern terminal of line 3 is Suyeong station, making Suyeong an important location for subway transportation/transfers.
