Mérignac, Gironde

Mérignac Centre tram stop is a tram stop on line A of the Tramway de Bordeaux, and served as terminus of that line between 21 June 2007, when the line was extended from Saint-Augustin, until 24 January 2015, when the line was extended to Le Haillan-Rostand.. The stop is located on Avenue du Maréchal Leclerc in the commune of Mérignac and is operated by the TBC.For most of the day on Mondays to Fridays, trams run at least every five minutes in both directions through the stop. Services run less frequently in the early morning, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.

The stop is located just inside the Bordeaux ring road on Rue Alphonse Daudet and in the commune of Mérignac. It is operated by Transports Bordeaux Métropole.For most of the day on Mondays to Fridays, trams run at least every ten minutes to and from central Bordeaux. Services run less frequently in the early morning, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.The tram stop has twin tracks served by a pair of side platforms. Just to the west of the stop the two tracks converge to a single track, which threads its way through the complex grade-separated intersection between the Avenue de Magudas and the ring road until it reaches the line's terminus at Le Haillan Rostand.

Le Haillan Rostand tram stop is a tram stop on line A of the Tramway de Bordeaux. It opened on 24 January 2015, when the line was extended from Mérignac Centre and it is the current western terminus of line A. The stop is located just outside the Bordeaux ring road on Avenue de Magudas and in the commune of Le Haillan. It is operated by Transports Bordeaux Métropole.For most of the day on Mondays to Fridays, trams run at least every ten minutes to and from central Bordeaux. Services run less frequently in the early morning, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.The tram stop has just one platform, serving a single terminal track. This single track threads its way through the complex grade-separated intersection between the Avenue de Magudas and the ring road until it reaches a point just before the next stop, Les Pins, where the line becomes double track.

Château Pape Clément is a Bordeaux wine from the Pessac-Léognan appellation, ranked among the Crus Classés for red wine in the Classification of Graves wine of 1959. It is the oldest wine estate in Bordeaux, harvesting its 700th vintage in 2006. The winery and vineyards are located in the commune of Pessac, south-west of the city of Bordeaux. Les Afriques dans le monde (LAM) is a French academic research institute in Pessac, France focusing on Africa and its diaspora. It is a collaboration of the national reseach organisation CNRS (Centre national de la recherche scientifique) and three local universities: the Political science institute of the University of Bordeaux, the Bordeaux Montaigne University) and the University of Pau and the Adour Region. LAM was founded in 2011 by merging the Centre d’étude d’Afrique noire (CEAN, University of Bordeaux) and the Centre d’étude et de recherche sur les pays de l’Afrique orientale (CREPAO, University of Pau and the Adour Region) with other researchers joining. The research field of LAM is the "Africas": Sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa and by extension the African diaspora in the Middle East and transatlantic regions, mainly the Caribbean. In 2022 LAM had 26 researchers, fifty-odd PhD students and some 100 associated researchers. Since 2021 it is headed by David Ambrosetti.
