Bolton Muslim Girls' School is a secondary school located in Bolton in the English county of Greater Manchester.It was founded in 1987 as an independent Islamic school for girls by Bolton Muslim Welfare Trust. In 2007 it became a voluntary aided school and part of the state-funded sector administered by Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council. In September 2016 the school converted to academy status. The school is now sponsored by the Prosper Multi-Academy Trust. Bolton Muslim Girls' School offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils.

Shree Kutch Satsang Swaminarayan Temple (Bolton) is a three storied Swaminarayan Temple on Adelaide Street in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. It is the first Swaminarayan temple to be established in the UK and Europe, officially opening in 1973. On 6 September 1973 a constitution was registered for the Temple under the Place of Worship Act, and on 6 September 1975 specially prepared murtis from the head Temple in Bhuj were installed in the Temple. The original structure was demolished and rebuilt in 1993. Prior to the new building a labour club and terraced houses were present on the temple site.

Daubhill railway station was a station on the original route of the Bolton and Leigh Railway. It served the Daubhill area of south west Bolton. It was open from 1831 until its replacement in 1885 by a later station.

Essa Academy (formerly Hayward Grammar School) is a coeducational secondary school with academy status located in the Great Lever area of Bolton in the English county of Greater Manchester.Previously a community school administered by Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council, Hayward School converted to academy status in September 2009 and was renamed Essa Academy. However the school continues to coordinate with Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council for admissions. The school moved to new buildings in 2011 which include sports facilities that are available to pupils and the local community. In September 2014 Essa Primary School opened in the grounds of the Essa Academy in separate buildings.BBC journalist and newsreader Clive Myrie was a pupil at the then named Hayward Grammar School.

Pike's Lane was a football ground in Bolton, England. It was the home ground of Bolton Wanderers between 1880 and 1895, and the venue of the first-ever goal scored in league football anywhere in the world.

It opened in 2015 on a new site on the University of Bolton campus as Bolton UTC, a university technical college for students aged 14–19; in September 2020 it was renamed and began accepting students at age 11.

Rumworth and Daubhill railway station was in the Daubhill area of south-west Bolton, Greater Manchester, on a deviation of the original Bolton Great Moor St to Kenyon Junction line. The station replaced an earlier station on the original line of the railway that had been served by a stationary engine. It was open from 1885 until 1952 for passengers and 1965 for freight.

Bolton Lads and Girls Club is a youth club and registered charity based in Bolton, Greater Manchester. It is one of the largest youth clubs in the United Kingdom, with a membership of over 4,000 young people. Based in Bolton's town centre, the club is open 7 days a week, 51 weeks a year and welcomes all young people aged 8 to 19 years old (up to 21 for young people with disabilities). Bolton Lads and Girls Club offers a range of targeted and universal provisions including sports, arts, mentoring and community outreach work.

Bolton Crook Street passenger station was a purely temporary facility within the Bolton Crook Street goods yard, devised by the LNWR for use while their nearby Great Moor St station was demolished and rebuilt. It was used as such from August 1871 to September 1874, after which it reverted to use solely for goods. The temporary passenger station's exact location within the goods yard is believed to be the goods shed on the eastern side of Chandos Street.Sources differ on whether Great Moor St station reopened in September 1874 or April 1875. The original service to Kenyon Junction was provided continuously from 1831 to 1954, but the new, additional service to Manchester Exchange via Roe Green Junction and Walkden Low Level by the London and North Western Railway which did not start until 1 April 1875, when it ran from Great Moor Street. It is therefore possible that Crook St handed the Kenyon Junction traffic to the new Great Moor Street station in 1874.

Great Lever is a suburb of Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. Historically in Lancashire, it is 2+1⁄2 miles (4.0 km) south of Bolton town centre and the same distance north of Farnworth. The district is served by frequent buses running to Bolton town centre, Farnworth and the Royal Bolton Hospital. The population is 16,969.
