Providence Catholic High School (often referred to as Providence, Provi, or abbreviated PCHS) is a Roman Catholic secondary school located in New Lenox, Illinois. Located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Joliet, Providence Catholic is a private school run by the Order of Saint Augustine and is a member of the Augustinian Secondary Education Association.. The school is located at the crossroads of Lincoln Highway (also part of U.S. Highway 30) and Interstate 80.

New Lenox is a commuter train station along Metra's Rock Island District line in New Lenox, a southern suburb of Chicago, Illinois. The station is officially located on 300 North Church Street, and lies 34.0 miles (54.7 km) away from LaSalle Street Station, the northern terminus of the line, however parking is available between Church Street and far northeast of Haven Avenue. It is also the penultimate station along the RID line before reaching the end of the line at Joliet Transportation Center. In Metra's fare-based system, New Lenox station is in zone G. As of 2018, New Lenox is the 49th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 1,046 weekday boardings.As of 2022, New Lenox is served by 42 trains (21 in each direction) on weekdays, by 21 trains (10 inbound, 11 outbound) on Saturdays, and by 16 trains (eight in each direction) on Sundays and holidays. New Lenox station was originally built by the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad in 1900. It is located just north of US 30, and is also west of a bridge that carries a former Wabash Railroad line that serves Metra's SouthWest Service line. A new station was built for that line at Laraway Road in 2006. There are no convenient transfers between these two stations. Like Laraway Road station, no bus connections are currently available.

New Lenox Township is located in the heart of Will County, Illinois, on U.S. Route 30 and Interstate 80. As of the 2010 census, its population was 40,270, and it contained 13,721 housing units. New Lenox Township has thirty-six square miles within its jurisdiction. The Marseilles moraine is a terminal moraine that encircles the southern tip of Lake Michigan in North America. It begins near Elgin, Illinois, and extends south and west of Chicago metropolitan area, turning eastward 30 miles (48 km) to 40 miles (64 km) south of the lake in Kankakee and Iroqouis counties, entering Indiana. It formed during the Wisconsin glaciation. The glacier had been in retreat when it stopped for an extended period, depositing glacial till and sand creating the hills of the moraine.

Ridgewood is a census-designated place (CDP) in Will County, Illinois, United States. It is northwest of the center of the county, bordered to the east and west by the city of Joliet. U.S. Route 30 runs along the southern edge of the CDP, leading west 2 miles (3 km) to the center of Joliet and east 3 miles (5 km) to Interstate 80. Ridgewood was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

Marley is a census-designated place (CDP) in Will County, Illinois, United States. It is in the northern part of the county, between Homer Glen to the north and Mokena to the south. Marley is bordered to the south by Interstate 80, but with no direct access. U.S. Route 6 (Southwest Highway) passes just north of Marley, leading west-southwest 9 miles (14 km) to Joliet and northeast 6 miles (10 km) to Orland Park. Ingalls Park is a census-designated place and suburb of Joliet in Will County, Illinois, United States. The population was 3,314 at the 2010 census. The town consists of a small neighborhood and a few businesses between Joliet's Pilcher Park and Interstate 80. It is the nearest town to Chicagoland Speedway, which hosted the NASCAR Cup Series from 2001 to 2019.
