Aston Business School (ABS), part of Aston University in Birmingham, England, is an international business school.

The Aston Centre for Europe (ACE) is a multi-disciplinary research hub located within Aston University, UK. Its focus is on contemporary analysis of the politics and policies of the European Union, governance in the wider Europe, and Europe's global relations. It was launched in 2009 with the support of a major grant from Aston University's Strategic Investment Fund. Masters students are an important element of the Aston Centre for Europe and are actively encouraged to take part in the events, seminars, debates and workshops that ACE offers throughout the academic year. ACE delivers a suite of 5 academic programmes at Masters (MA) level.

Aston University (abbreviated as Aston. for post-nominals) is a public research university situated in the city centre of Birmingham, England. Aston began as the Birmingham Municipal Technical School in 1895, evolving into the UK's first college of advanced technology in 1956. Aston University received its royal charter from Queen Elizabeth II on 22 April 1966. Aston pioneered the integrated placement year concept over 50 years ago, and more than 73% of Aston students take a placement year, the highest percentage in the UK. The annual income of the institution for 2021–22 was £197.7 million of which £19.3 million was from research grants and contracts, with an expenditure of £219.4 million.In 2020, Aston University was named "University of the Year" by The Guardian, and the newspaper also awarded Aston Students' Union its "Buildings That Inspire" award. The Times Higher Education Awards named Aston University as its "Outstanding Entrepreneurial University" in 2020.In September 2021, Aston was shortlisted for University of the Year in the Times Higher Education Awards 2021.

Woodcock Street Baths is a swimming pool, part of the Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre in Birmingham, England. The pool dates from 1902. It was originally a public baths; it is now part of Aston University and is operated by Sport Aston. It is a Grade II listed building.The pool is open to students and staff of the university, and to the public.

Gosta Green is an area in the city of Birmingham, England. It lies at the edge of the city centre, 3⁄4 mile (1.2 kilometres) northeast of Birmingham New Street station.

The Aston Triangle is an area of Birmingham City Centre, England. The area is mostly dominated by higher education facilities. Aston University is based within the Aston Triangle area and the logo of the establishment takes from the shape of the area. Birmingham City University also uses facilities on the Aston University campus. These are in Gosta Green together with Birmingham Institute of Art and Design and Aston Science Park. The site has large numbers of teaching buildings and student halls of residence, which are used by Aston University. Dalton, Lawrence, and Stafford Towers, three large towers containing student dwellings, were demolished in the early 2010s, and new student accommodation named the William Murdoch, the James Watt, the Harriet Martineau and the Mary Sturge Residences constructed.The triangular headquarters of West Midlands Fire Service was located at Lancaster Circus. The building has been purchased by the Watkin Jones Group who have plans to construct a high rise building in the courtyard of the building. West Midlands Five Service are currently constructing new headquarters in Duddeston. The area is also a centre of healthcare in Birmingham. An old Victorian building, which used to be the General Hospital, is now the Birmingham Children's Hospital. Adjacent to this is the Birmingham Dental Hospital of postwar architecture.

The Birmingham Lesbian and Gay Community Centre was an LGBT community centre in Birmingham, England. Opened in December 1976 as the Birmingham Gay Community Centre in Bordesley Street, Digbeth, Birmingham, the centre was the first LGBT community centre to be established in the United Kingdom (there had been an illegal one in squat in Brixton, London from 1974 to 1976 ), and paved the way for the establishment of similar institutions in London and Manchester in the 1980s. Its headquarters were at the Nightingale Club from 1981 to 1984, before moving to a former clothing factory at 291 Corporation Street.The centre closed in 1987.

Birmingham Science Park Aston, formerly known as Aston Science Park, is a science park located in Birmingham City Centre, United Kingdom. It is located adjacent to Aston University and the Eastside area.

Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA) is a regional academy for digital, creative and performing arts located in the centre of Birmingham, West Midlands, England.Birmingham Ormiston Academy is an independent state funded academy for 14- to 19-year-olds, with a curriculum designed to for those with talents in the specialist subjects. Their motto is "Imagine Everything". Applicants select a pathway, which will occupy the majority of the curriculum time (16 hours); additional subjects and programmes are also available. The academy admits students from Birmingham, the surrounding metropolitan boroughs and the wider West Midlands region. The school is sponsored by Ormiston Trust and Birmingham City University, and is partnered with Maverick TV, Birmingham Repertory Theatre and the BRIT School, and has also been unofficially referred to as the BRIT school in Birmingham.As of 1 September 2014 BOA had taken over the running of the Old Rep Theatre on Station Street in Birmingham. The venue was re-launched on 4 September 2014 with a performance showcasing the skills of their students. Amateur and professional companies will still be able to perform at the theatre as well as the school using the venue for lessons, rehearsal space and performances.

Aston University Engineering Academy is a university technical college (UTC) that opened in September 2012 in the Gosta Green area of Birmingham, West Midlands, England. Aston University is the lead academic sponsor of the UTC, along with the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Network. Business partners of Aston University Engineering Academy include E.ON, Goodrich Corporation, National Grid plc, PTC and the Royal Air Force.The new purpose-built school building of the UTC is located at the edge of the Aston University campus.
