Adelaide Secondary School of English is co-located with the School of Languages 5 km (3 mi) west of the city of Adelaide.It is the only Government School for permanent, temporary and overseas full fee paying secondary students aged between 12 and 18 years who are newly arrived in South Australia, providing opportunities for students to develop their English skills.

Croydon Park is a north-western suburb of Adelaide 5.9 km from the CBD, in the state of South Australia, Australia and is within the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. It is bounded to the south by Lamont Street and Torrens Road, to the north by Regency Road and in the east and west by Harrison Road and Goodall Avenue respectively. Croydon Park is predominantly a residential suburb, with a warehousing presence on the northern edges near Regency Road. Croydon Park has been completely divided by the North-South Motorway.

West Croydon is an inner western suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. West Croydon has a population of 4,141 as of the ABS 2016 census, and is located 5 km west of the Central Business District of Adelaide. The population has changed greatly over the past 15 years as older residents move away, and younger residents move in. The Suburb is within the Federal seat of Adelaide and the City of Charles Sturt. Until the early 1920s the suburb was a farming area with infill occurring until the 1970s.

Woodville Park is a suburb in the northwestern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia, around 8 km from the city centre. Woodville Park is bordered to the north by Torrens Road, to the east by Kilkenny Road and David Terrace, to the south by Port Road and to the west by Park Street. Ferryden Park Primary School was a primary school in the Adelaide inner north west suburb of Ferryden Park. In 1959 the student enrolment at the school peaked at 639 students, due in part to the post-war boom of the 1950s.Ferryden Park Primary School closed at the end of 2010. It merged with four similar schools of the area to form the new Woodville Gardens School and based at site of the old Ridley Grove Primary School. The merger occurred as part of the Education Works New Schools Project of the Department of Education and Children's Services. The school's lands were earmarked for a new housing development.

Armada Arndale is a shopping centre located in the suburb of Kilkenny in South Australia and is managed by Armada Funds Management. It used to be managed by Vicinity Centres (formerly Federation Centres) and Westfield. The facility is located at the intersection of main arterial roads, Torrens, Hanson and Regency roads. Coopers Brewery Limited, the largest Australian-owned brewery, is based in the Adelaide suburb of Regency Park. Coopers is known for making a variety of beers, the most famous of which are its Pale Ale and Sparkling Ale. In the twelve months to 30 June 2020 total beer sales, excluding non-alcoholic beverages, rose to 79.8 million litres, an increase of 3.9% from the previous year. It is also the world's largest producer of homebrewing beer concentrate in cans. Cooper's also manufactures DIY kits, reusable plastic bottles and boxed brew enhancers. Its shares are primarily owned by the extended Cooper family, and the company's constitution and classes of shares makes it difficult to sell shares outside the family.

Kilkenny railway station is located on the Grange and Outer Harbor lines. Situated in the western Adelaide suburb of West Kilkenny, it is six kilometres from Adelaide station. It uses Caution More Than One Train lights, and was the first on the line to have such lights.

The Islamic College of South Australia is in West Croydon, a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It offers classes from kindergarten to year 12. It has been a working school since 1997 but opened in 1926, where it first set up next to the Wandana Mosque on Wandana Avenue in Gilles Plains. It moved to 22A Cedar Avenue in West Croydon in 2000. The Islamic College of South Australia is owned and managed by the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils (AFIC). In 2012 the school was in dispute with AFIC in regards to financial irregularities, which were uncovered during a federal audit.In 2013 a female staff member was dismissed for failing to adhere to the school's dress code. The teachers' union took the matter to Fair Work Australia.In May 2015 parents with-held their children from attending the college and have accused the board of firing principals and teachers. The Imams Council of South Australia expressed its concern, and the federal education minister said he takes these issues very seriously.In July 2015, a member of the board took a male student to a haircut salon, forcing him to get a haircut without his mother's permission.In October 2015 the entire school board was sacked. That December, all government funding for the college was frozen.In February 2017 the federal Minister for Education and Training, Simon Birmingham, said the school had failed to meet obligations relating to governance, to financial management and to regular reporting. He said that federal funding for the school would cease in April 2017.In March 2017 it was reported that, following a police request, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission had been undertaking financial investigations into the more than $1 million potentially missing and the high rentals paid to AFIC.

The Mikawomma Reserve is found in the suburb of Woodville Gardens on the corner of Liberty Grove & Ridley Grove in South Australia, Australia. Mikawomma is the Kaurna name for the plain that lies between Adelaide and Port Adelaide (Teichelmann & Schürmann, 1840: 16 Grammar section). The Kaurna people are the traditional custodians of the Adelaide Plains area. The landscape design and the artworks in Mikawomma Reserve reflect indigenous plants and animals as well as culture and history.
