Liberty High School is a public secondary school located in Peoria, Arizona, United States. The high school is a part of the Peoria Unified School District. The school opened in August 2006 due to overcrowding at Sunrise Mountain High School and rapid population growth in Peoria. Currently, approximately 2,350 students are enrolled, making it the district's second-largest high school.

Glendale Preparatory Academy is a Public Charter high-school and middle-school in Peoria, Arizona. It is part of Great Hearts Academies. The curriculum emphasizes the Liberal Arts and has seminar-based classes and honors level courses.

Lizard Acres was a former cattle ranch, subdivision, and train stop situated in Maricopa County, Arizona, near the present day town of Surprise. It has an estimated elevation of 1,191 feet (363 m) above sea level.Lizard Acres (noted as Lizard on topographic maps) was a train stop just north of Surprise, Arizona. The stop is near current day Grand Avenue and Bell Road in Surprise, Arizona. The site also held a cattle farm.

Arizona Charter Academy (ACA) is a coeducational, public charter school located in Surprise, Arizona, USA. The school population is largely from the cities of El Mirage, Surprise, Peoria, Youngtown and Glendale. ACA provides instructions for students in grades kindergarten through 8th grade. ACA has been designated by the Arizona Learns Achievement Profile as "Performing Plus". It was a candidate for accreditation by the now dissolved North Central Association. The school mascot is a bulldog. Starting in the 2017–2018 school year, this school has dropped the high school portion of the school, making it a K-8 school.

Beardsley is a populated place situated within the Sun City West CDP in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. It has an estimated elevation of 1,263 feet (385 m) above sea level, and was named for William H. Beardsley, an irrigation pioneer who began an irrigation project at this location in 1888.

The Peoria Sports Complex is a baseball complex located in the Peoria suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, USA, near Peoria's main shopping district on Bell Road. It consists of the main baseball stadium (Peoria Stadium) and 12 practice fields. It is one of six facilities to host Arizona Fall League games. The capacity of Peoria Stadium is approximately 12,000. During spring training, it is the home stadium of both the San Diego Padres and the Seattle Mariners, who play in the spring training Cactus League. Both teams are leased to hold spring training there until 2034.The complex has been a site of the Vans Warped Tour every summer since 2002. It is also hosts a number of other events, including youth baseball tournaments and city events, and is available as a potential wedding venue for couples.

The mall is owned by Macerich & GIC Private Limited. It is anchored by Macy's, Dillard's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. The mall includes an AMC Theatres and is home to 180 tenants. Arrowhead also serves as a transit center for Valley Metro Bus.
