Cottenham Park

Atkinson Morley Hospital (AMH) was located at Copse Hill near Wimbledon, South-West London, England from 1869 until 2003. Initially a convalescent hospital, it became one of the most advanced brain surgery centres in the world, and was involved in the development of the CT scanner. Following its closure, neuroscience services were relocated to the new Atkinson Morley Wing of St George's Hospital, Tooting.

St Matthew's Church, Wimbledon is a Church of England parish church on Durham Road in West Wimbledon, London. Its 1910 building by Ernest Charles Shearman was damaged during the Second World War and replaced in 1958 with the present one, designed by Sebastian Comper.

Copse Hill is a low-rise district of the London Borough of Merton to the south of Wimbledon Common, associated with Raynes Park its nearest railway station. It is on higher ground and has the largest green spaces associated with the Raynes Park/West Wimbledon area surrounding it. It was almost entirely privately developed; the nearest social housing areas are in Wimbledon, and Putney Vale. As of 2019, a little of its undeveloped land is being built upon, in projects begun in about the year 2017 mainly in its Wimbledon Hill Park development, estate or neighbourhood by Berkeley Homes.

Raynes Park railway station serves the district of Raynes Park in the London Borough of Merton. It is 8 miles 51 chains (13.9 km) south-west of London Waterloo and is situated between Wimbledon and New Malden on the South West Main Line. The next station along on the Mole Valley branch line is Motspur Park. The station is served and operated by South Western Railway, and is in Travelcard Zone 4. It has 4 platforms and 2 of them are accessible with ramps from the station entrance (those being the platforms to London Waterloo)

Cannizaro Park is a public park in Wimbledon in the London Borough of Merton. Located towards the south-western edge of Wimbledon Common, it is known for its ornamental landscaped gardens with ponds and sculpture. The park is Grade II* listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

The Crooked Billet is a pub at 14–15 Crooked Billet, facing onto Wimbledon Common, Wimbledon, London. The building dates from the early 18th century and became the Crooked Billet during the 1750s. The district of Wimbledon called Crooked Billet may have taken its name from the pub.In 1888 Young's Brewery leased the Crooked Billet pub, and bought the freehold in 1928. In 1974 Young's Brewery purchased the nearby Hand in Hand. After the pubs were enlarged and refurbished, they were sold in 2006. The pubs are separated from the green. In Wright's Alley, ale was historically delivered to customers by Shire horses pulling brewer's drays.Along with the Hand in Hand, the Crooked Billet faces onto a small triangular green. Nearby can be found King's College School. Eagle House and Wimbledon House are also in the vicinity.The pub's cellars are said to be haunted by the ghost of an Irish woman.

A bust of the Ethiopian emperor Haile Selassie formerly stood in Cannizaro Park in Wimbledon Common, London. A work of the sculptor Hilda Seligman, it was destroyed in June 2020.

Crooked Billet, also known as Shepherd's Hatch Gate, is a hamlet which forms part of Wimbledon Common and incorporates its own commons. The district encompasses a small area in southwest London, England, in the London Borough of Merton. The area is regarded as a popular greenspot and an adjunct to events in Wimbledon.

Southside House is a historical 15,650 sq ft (1,454 m2) home located on the south side of Wimbledon Common. It is Grade II* listed.Dating back to Jacobean times, Southside House was originally a farm at either end of which were built two cottages. These cottages were knocked down, rebuilt and refurbished and, by the mid-1700s, they had become two townhouses joined by a wall. In the Georgian era, the two structures were doubled towards the South and the facade was unified. In 1931, the house known originally as Southside House was bought by Hilda Pennington Mellor, who populated it with paintings, furniture and chattels brought from Villa Françon, a previous family residence in France. In the following decades, Malcolm Munthe, Hilda's son, would work renovating and restoring both Southside and Carefrae House, the adjacent property, purchased by the family in the early 1950s. Over time, Southside would be associated with a variety of historical characters and episodes in Major Munthe's brilliant storytelling. As the only historical home in Merton, it fulfils an active role in fostering culture and education in the borough through concerts, literary evenings, school visits and other activities. It is run by the Pennington-Mellor-Munthe Charity Trust together with Hellens Manor, the family's country house in Herefordshire. The house was sold to new owners in May 2022.

Raynes Park is a residential suburb, railway station and local centre near Wimbledon, London, and is within the London Borough of Merton. It is situated southwest of Wimbledon Common, to the northwest of Wimbledon Chase and to the east of New Malden, in South West London. It is 7.8 miles (12.5 km) southwest of Charing Cross. Towards the north and west, either side of the borough boundary with the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames are the areas of Copse Hill and Coombe with their large detached houses, golf courses and gated lands. Raynes Park had a population of 19,619 in 2011, which refers to the populations of the wards of Raynes Park and West Barnes.

Chester House is a Grade II listed house on the west side of Wimbledon Common, Wimbledon, London, built in about 1700 or earlier.The radical politician and reformer John Horne Tooke lived there from 1792 until his death in 1812.
