St. James-Bond United Church, at 1066 Avenue Road in Toronto, Ontario, was a United Church of Canada congregation from 1928 to 2005, when it merged with Fairlawn Heights United Church (now Fairlawn Avenue United Church) in the Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue area. The "St. James-Bond" name derived from the merger of St. James Square Presbyterian Church with Bond Street Congregational Church in 1928. Prior to the merger, they were separate congregations downtown, of the Presbyterian and Congregational traditions respectively. The church building at 1066 Avenue Road was vacated on February 28, 2006. The building was torn down in the summer of 2006, and the site is now the Living Life on the Avenue Seniors Retirement Residence.The building had been used by Elections Canada for a polling place. In 2008, some voters were mistakenly told to vote at the demolished church, instead of at the new polling place at Marshall McLuhan Catholic Secondary School.

The Eglinton Theatre, (or Eglinton Grand) is an event venue and cinema in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In 2016, it was designated a National Historic Site by Parks Canada and the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada.Built in 1936, the Eglinton became one of the best examples of the Art Deco-style in Canadian theatre design. In 1937, architectural firm Kaplan & Sprachman was awarded the Royal Architecture Institute of Canada's Bronze Medal for their design of the theatre. From 1965 to 1967, the "Sound of Music" played for 146 weeks.It operated as a cinema for 67 years, until 2003, after which it was converted to an event venue.

Marshall McLuhan Catholic Secondary School (Marshall McLuhan, MMCSS, Marshall McLuhan CSS, or McLuhan) is a coeducational, non-semestered, Catholic high school in midtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada managed by the Toronto Catholic District School Board. The school was formally founded in September 1998 to replace De La Salle College Oaklands campus, founded by the De La Salle Brothers in 1851, which was reverted as a private school in 1994. The school property was originally built for the Toronto Hunt Club and later used by the Canadian Armed Forces as the Canadian Forces Staff School until 1994. This school was named after Marshall McLuhan, a Canadian educator, philosopher, and scholar—a professor of English literature, a literary critic, a rhetorician, a communication theorist, and a committed Roman Catholic. McLuhan is located on Avenue Road north of Eglinton Avenue East and is accessible from Eglinton station. Its motto is "Faith is our medium".

Eglinton Park is a public park located in the North Toronto neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, a few blocks west of the Eglinton Subway Station. It is bounded on the south end by Eglinton Avenue West, on the north by Roselawn Aveunue. The other two sides of the park have houses backing onto the park; Oriole Parkway on the west side, and Edith Drive on the east. The park has two baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a splash pool, and a kids playground. Outdoor tennis courts are turned into skating rinks in the winter. Also located in the park is the North Toronto Community Memorial Centre with an indoor pool, outdoor pool, water slides, gymnasium, walking track, and exercise rooms. There is also an indoor skating rink.

St. Clement's Church, also known as St. Clement's, Eglinton, is an Anglican church located in the Yonge–Eglinton neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario. The parish was established in 1891. The present church building was erected in 1925 by architects Page & Warrington and Charles MacKay Willmot. A parish hall, designed by Molesworth & Secord, was added in 1938.In 1901, Canon Thomas Wesley Powell, Rector of St. Clement's, founded St. Clement's School. Classes were first offered in the parish hall but they later moved to their own purpose-built building down the street. Initially co-ed, the school today is all girls and remains affiliated with the church.

Toronto—St. Paul's is a federal electoral district in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 1935. Its current MP is Carolyn Bennett. Prior to the 2015 election, the riding was known as St. Paul's.The small but densely populated riding covers the area to the north and northeast of Downtown Toronto (often called "Midtown" Toronto). In the past, it had been considered a bellwether riding, having been represented by only three opposition MPs. However, like most Toronto-based ridings, the Liberals have dominated recent elections. Since the Liberals won all but one seat in Ontario in their 1993 landslide, they have won all but one election in St. Paul's by 10,000 votes or more. As of 2015, it includes the southern two-thirds of the wealthy Toronto neighbourhood of Forest Hill, plus the neighbourhoods of Deer Park, Davisville Village, Chaplin Estates, South Hill, Humewood-Cedarvale, the southern two-thirds of Fairbank, and the northern half of Summerhill.

Toronto—St. Paul's is a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario since 1999. Before the 2018 election, it was known simply as St. Paul's. The small but densely populated riding covers the area to the north of Downtown Toronto. The riding was represented by Liberal Eric Hoskins before his abrupt resignation on February 26, 2018. The riding was created for the 1999 election, to match the borders of the federal riding of the same name. It was carved out of the former districts of St. Andrew—St. Patrick, Eglinton, Oakwood, Dovercourt and St. George—St. David. The riding consists of part of the Fairbank, Humewood-Cedarvale, Hillcrest-Bracondale, Wychwood Park, part of Davenport, Casa Loma, Forest Hill, Tarragon Village, Rathnelly, South Hill, Summerhill, Rosehill, Chaplin Estates, Deer Park and Davisville and part of North Toronto neighbourhoods.

Chaplin Estates is a neighbourhood that covers the southwest portion of the Yonge and Eglinton area in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It lies west of Yonge Street and is bounded by Eglinton Avenue to the north and Avenue Road to the west. The southern boundary is Chaplin Crescent, which runs parallel to the former Beltline Railway line, now the Beltline Trail, a scenic walking and biking trail. A portion of the Toronto Transit Commission's Yonge-University-Spadina subway line runs above ground along the eastern fringe of Chaplin Estates, and transit access is provided through Davisville station and Eglinton station. Chaplin Estates is one of the wealthiest neighbourhoods in Toronto.

Yonge Eglinton Centre is a complex of two office buildings located on the northwest corner of Yonge and Eglinton in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, including a small shopping concourse. It is located across the street from Canada Square and, at time of construction, two of only a few large office towers found north of Bloor Street. It is connected via tunnel to Eglinton subway station. The complex is undergoing a refit that will see 7 floors added to the 2300 Yonge Street and 5 floors added to 20 Eglinton Avenue West, as well as re-cladding the towers with curtain wall glass.

Midtown is one of four central business districts outside the city's downtown core of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Located in the north of Old Toronto, its borders are roughly defined by St. Clair Avenue to the south and Eglinton Avenue or Lawrence Avenue to the north, Bayview Avenue to the east and Dufferin Street to the west. Eglinton is a subway station on Line 1 Yonge–University of the Toronto subway. Located on Eglinton Avenue, it is central to the Yonge–Eglinton neighbourhood in Midtown Toronto. Eglinton station is the seventh busiest station of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).Line 5 Eglinton will serve Eglinton station upon completion of the line, which is scheduled for 2023. Eglinton will then become an interchange station for the two lines.
