Fındıklı is the northernmost neighbourhood of the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, Turkey, on the European coast of the Bosphorus. Tophane is to the south and Kabataş to the north. Towards the water it is a mainly business and hotel district although it becomes residential in the streets running uphill towards Gümüşsuyu. Fındıklı is served by the T1 tram service. Along the waterfront, the quarter is home to the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, which is housed in what were once the Twin Palaces (Çifte Saraylar) of Münire Sultan and Cemile Sultan, the daughters of Sultan Abdülmecid. The small Fındıklı Park beside it contains sculptures created by the students of the university. The Twin Palaces briefly housed the Ottoman Parliament (Meclis-i Mebusan) The waterfront Molla Çelebi Mosque was designed by the Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan in 1561-62. It was once part of a complex with a dervish lodge (tekke) and hamam but these were both lost to the widening of the Meclis-i Mebusan coast road. The imposing free-standing Hekimoğlu Ali Paşa Fountain stands at the point where Fındıklı merges with neighbouring Kabataş. It was built in 1732 for Hekimoğlu Ali Paşa who served as rand vizier twice and originally stood on higher ground on the inland side of the road before being moved when the coast road was widened.

Dolapdere is a quarter of Beyoğlu district in central Istanbul, Turkey. It is surrounded by the quarters of Taksim, Kasımpaşa, Pangaltı and Kurtuluş.

Private Galileo Galilei Italian High School (Italian: Liceo Scientifico Galileo Galilei, Turkish: Özel Galileo Galilei İtalyan Lisesi ) is a private foreign high school (yabancı özel lisesi) in Beyoğlu district of İstanbul, Türkiye. It is a bilingual Turkish-Italian school that uses both Turkish and Italian curriculums.

The 2022 Istanbul bombing occurred on İstiklal Avenue in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, Turkey, on 13 November 2022 (2022-11-13), killing six people and injuring 81 others. The bombing is regarded as a terrorist attack. The city experienced previous terrorist attacks during the late 20th and early 21st century by Kurdish separatists and Islamist insurgents. An Islamic State suicide bombing in the same district killed four people in 2016.No group has claimed responsibility, but Turkish authorities announced that Kurdish separatists were behind the attack, implicating the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the Syrian Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Turkey's interior minister, Süleyman Soylu, announced the arrest of the bomber and forty-six others.PKK, and SDF denied involvements in the bombing, denounced it, and offered their condoleances. On 20 November, Turkey launched Operation Claw-Sword, bombing nearly 500 targets in Syria and Iraq. Top SDF officials called for resuming peace talks, avoid a deadly conflict, and vowed resistance if attacked.

On 19 March 2016, a suicide bombing took place in Istanbul's Beyoğlu district in front of the district governor's office. The attack occurred at 10:55 (EET) at the intersection of Balo Street with İstiklal Avenue, a central shopping street. The attack caused at least five deaths, including that of the perpetrator. Thirty-six people were injured, including seven whose injuries were severe. Among those injured were twelve foreign tourists. Among those killed, two were of dual Israel-US nationality. On 22 March, the Turkish interior minister said that the bomber had links with ISIL.

Çukurcuma (pronounced chu-KUR-ju-ma; meaning "Friday Valley" in Turkish) is a district of Beyoğlu (in Istanbul, Turkey), made up of the Kuloğlu and Firuzağa neighbourhoods. It lies south-east of İstiklal Caddesi in a valley, not far from Galatasaray Square and between the Tomtom and Cihangir neighbourhoods. The main thoroughfare is Çukurcuma Caddesi. The buildings largely date from the 19th century, although there has also been a lot of 20th-century development. Çukurcuma is full of antique shops and cafés and has a rather European character. The constituency tends to vote for the CHP. In 2008 The Guardian devoted an article to Çukurcuma. In 2012, the newspaper described it as one of the five best places to live worldwide.

Zografeion Lyceum or Zografyon Lyceum (Turkish: Özel Zoğrafyon Rum Lisesi, Greek: Ζωγράφειον Λύκειον) is one of the remaining open Greek schools in Istanbul. The school is in the Istanbul city centre in the Beyoğlu district and very close to the Taksim Square, which is considered the heart of the city.

The Atlas Cinema (Turkish: Atlas Sineması) is a movie theatre situated at İstiklal Avenue in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, Turkey. It opened in 1948. Between 2019 and 2021, it underwent a restoration.

The Taksim German Hospital (Turkish: Taksim Alman Hastanesi) is a health care institution in Cihangir, Istanbul which is owned by the Universal Hospitals Group since 1992. It was closed for a three-year refurbishment and re-opened in 1995. The hospital had around 300 beds. It shut down most of its clinics during 2013 and closed its doors indefinitely following a temporary, one-month closure in 2014.The hospital was founded in 1852 by three nurses working to the model of German Pastor Theodor Fliedner.

Istanbul Kent University (Turkish: İstanbul Kent Üniversitesi) is a private university established by the Engelsiz Eğitim Foundation in 2016. The main campus is located in the Cihangir neighborhood of Beyoğlu, Istanbul. The current rector is Prof. Dr. Necmettin Atsü.

The Hacı Abdullah Restaurant (Turkish: Hacı Abdullah Lokantası) is a historic tradiditional restaurant in Istanbul, Turkey, specialized in Ottoman court cuisine and Turkish cuisine. It was established at Karaköy, Istanbul in 1888, and since 1916 has been situated in differnt places of Beyoğlu, Istanbul.

Taksim Surp Harutyun Church (Armenian: Սուրբ Յարութիւն Եկեղեցի), is an Armenian Church in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul. The original date of first construction is not known but the church was removed in 1846, closed down in 1890 and rebuilt in 1895 by the architects Hovhannes and Mıgırdiç Esayan.
