Middleton on the Hill is a village in north east Herefordshire, England, near the border with Worcestershire. Middleton-on-the-Hill lies a few miles to the east of the A49 between Ludlow and Leominster. Middleton on the Hill is one of the 53 Thankful Villages in England and Wales that suffered no fatalities during the Great War of 1914 to 1918; as it did not suffer any losses in World War II either, it is one of 13 villages considered "doubly thankful".

Laysters is a civil parish in north-east Herefordshire, England, and approximately 15 miles (20 km) north-northeast from the city and county town of Hereford. The nearest towns are the market towns of Leominster 4.5 miles (7 km) to the south-west, and Tenbury Wells in Worcestershire, 3.5 miles (6 km) miles to the north-east. Within Letton is the Grade 1 listed Church of St Andrew. The parish was alternatively spelt 'Leysters', the ecclesiastic spelling.

Bach Camp is a hill fort near Kimbolton, Herefordshire, England. According to Historic England it is a "large univallate hill fort" that "survives well". It is on the top of a hill or ridge overlooking a junction of the Whyle Brook. It has three entrances, though one may be modern (Historic England and Megalithic portal variously describe the modern entrance as western or southern). It has only one line of ramparts, 5.1 metres at the highest point, which enclose about 4.1 hectares. It has been a scheduled monument since 1938. The site has not yet been dated, but historic England are confident that there is archeological evidence as yet not dug.

Pudleston (or Pudlestone), is a small village and civil parish (alternatively Pudleston-cum-Whyle), in the county of Herefordshire, England, and is 13 miles (20 km) north from the city and county town of Hereford. The closest large town is Leominster 4 miles (6 km) to the west. At Pudleston is the c.1200 Church of St Peter, and the 1846 Tudor-Gothic Pudleston Court.

Easton Court railway station was a station in Little Hereford, Herefordshire, England. The station opened on 1 August 1861 as the only intermediate stop on the Tenbury Railway. It was removed from the passenger timetable in October 1862 due to a lack of traffic. Following the opening of the Tenbury and Bewdley Railway on 13 August 1864, which completed the line from Woofferton to Bewdley, Easton Court re-opened in April 1865. The station appeared in some timetables as "Easton Court for Little Hereford". It closed on 31 July 1961, the same date as the closure of the former Tenbury Railway.

Little Hereford is a small village and civil parish in Herefordshire, England. The civil parish includes the hamlet of Middleton. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 394.

Kimbolton is a village and parish in Herefordshire, England, around 3 miles (5 km) north east of Leominster and 15 miles (24 km) north of Hereford. The village is on the A4112 road, near its junction with the A49 road. The church is dedicated to St James, has 13th-century features and has two Norman windows in the chancel. The spire is shingled.Bath Camp, a small Iron Age hill fort, lies on a ridge above the Whyte Brook about 1.5 miles (2 km) south east of the church.The parish had a population in mid-2010 of 434, increasing to 472 at the 2011 Census.The village has a pub, The Stockton Cross and a Primary School with a separate Early Years nursery on site. There is also a village hall.Kimbolton Chapel (now Kimbolton St James church) is one of the rumoured burial sites for Owain Glyndwr.

Berrington Green is a village in Worcestershire, England near Tenbury Wells.

The Church of St Michael and All Angels is an Anglican church about 1 mile (1.6 km) south-west of Tenbury Wells, in Worcestershire, England. It was built in 1858 as part of St Michael's College, a former school. The church, in the Diocese of Hereford, is Grade II* listed.

St. Michael's College (the College of St. Michael and All Angels) was founded by Sir Frederick Ouseley in 1856 as a boys Preparatory School. Ouseley created the school to provide a model for the performance of Anglican church music. Choral services were performed daily in term time. The college possessed a library that contained rare books of international importance. Financial difficulties forced its closure in 1985. The buildings were reopened as an independent international boarding school under the name of King's College Saint Michaels in 1990. It closed in June 2020 as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Leominster Canal was an English canal which ran for just over 18 miles from Mamble to Leominster through 16 locks and a number of tunnels, some of which suffered engineering problems even before the canal opened. Originally the canal was part of a much more ambitious plan to run 46 miles from Stourport to Kington.
