Maidenhead is a market town in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in the county of Berkshire, England, on the southwestern bank of the River Thames. It had an estimated population of 70,374 and forms part of the border with southern Buckinghamshire. The town is situated 27 miles (43 km) west of Charing Cross, London and 13 miles (21 km) east-northeast of the county town of Reading. The town differs from the Parliamentary constituency of Maidenhead, which includes a number of outer suburbs and villages (including parts of Wokingham and Reading) such as Twyford, Charvil, Remenham, Ruscombe and Wargrave.

Maidenhead Heritage Centre is a heritage centre and museum in the town of Maidenhead, Berkshire, England.Maidenhead Heritage Centre and Museum was founded in 1993. The centre presents the history of Maidenhead history from Roman times to the present. It collects and preserves artefacts, photographs, documents, and sound recordings, to illustrate local history. The Maidenhead Archaeological & Historical Society, founded in 1960–1, collaborates with the centre.In December 2006, the centre and museum moved to a permanent location in Park Street. Special exhibitions are organised and presented, for example one on Maidenhead Bridge, the main historic road bridge to the east of the town, in 2007, marking its 230th anniversary. There is a permanent exhibition of material related to the Air Transport Auxiliary, which was based at White Waltham Airfield.The museum was accredited by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council in 2009.

Maidenhead railway station serves the town of Maidenhead, Berkshire, England. It is 24 miles 19 chains (39.0 km) down the line from London Paddington and is situated between Taplow to the east and Twyford to the west. It is served by local services operated by Great Western Railway and the Elizabeth line, and is also the junction for the Marlow Branch Line. It has five platforms which are accessed through ticket barriers at both entrances to the station. The Marlow line platform had an overall roof until 2014 when it was removed in the course of electrification works.

The Maidenhead Waterways are a system of canals in Maidenhead, England. Formerly disused, plans to restore and upgrade them were announced in 2011. The works would initially make the waterways navigable by small craft, and over time by larger craft, as limitations to navigation are gradually removed. Running south from the Thames near Cliveden, the channel divides into York Stream - passing under the historic Chapel Arches - and Moor Cut which crosses Town Moor. The channels re-join at Green Lane where they become Bray Cut, before returning to the Thames by Bray Marina. As a side channel of the Thames, the waterway has a perpetual right of public navigation, which cannot be extinguished by lack of use.

St Joseph's Church is a Roman Catholic parish church in Maidenhead, Berkshire, England. It was built in 1884 and designed by Leonard Stokes in the Gothic Revival style. It is located on the Cookham Road north of the town centre. It is a Grade II listed building and William Wilberforce junior played a role in its foundation.

Old Field at Bray, Berkshire was a noted cricket ground in the late 18th century. It was used as the venue for four first-class matches between 1792 and 1795 in addition to several minor matches.Bray is near Maidenhead and the ground was the home venue of Maidenhead Cricket Club when it was founded in the second half of the 18th century. It was used for first-class matches by the Berkshire county team which was very strong at that time. The name of the venue has also been given as "Old Field, Bray" but the designation "Oldfield Bray" is given by Scores and Biographies which also calls the Berkshire team "Oldfield" in one match.

Desborough College is a secondary school with academy status located on Shoppenhangers Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire, England. Until 2009 it was an all-boys school, however, the sixth form has since become co-educational. It was founded as Maidenhead Modern School in 1894 under its first Headmaster, F. Fairman, who was headmaster until 1910. In the 1970s reform in the Royal Borough ensured all schools converted to the then new comprehensive schools system, which prompted the school's name change to Desborough School after Lord Desborough, a prominent Maidonian. For the second time in the school's history it changed status in 2012 becoming an Academy school, and changed its name to Desborough College. As part of its academy status it initially partnered with the independent Radley College, Microsoft and The John Lewis Partnership.

Braywick Park is a 12.7-hectare (31-acre) Local Nature Reserve in the Braywick suburb of Maidenhead in Berkshire. It is owned and managed by Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

Maidenhead Boyne Hill railway station was built by the Wycombe Railway to serve the western part of Maidenhead. It was opened in 1854 and closed in 1871.
