Orxeta (Valencian: [oɾˈtʃeta], Spanish: Orcheta) is a small town and municipality in the comarca of Marina Baixa in the Valencian Community, Spain.

Marina Baixa (Valencian pronunciation: [maˈɾina ˈβajʃa]) or Spanish: Marina Baja is a comarca in the Valencian Community, Spain. It is bordered by the comarques of Comtat on the northwest, Marina Alta on the northeast, Alacantí and Alcoià on the west and the Mediterranean Sea on the east. The interior of this comarca is mountainous, and it is dominated by the Serra d'Aitana whose highest peak is 1,500 m. The local fauna is composed by eagles, hawks, crows, blackbirds, swallows, foxes, wildcats, wild boars and many smaller animals. Rosemaries, pines, medlars and carobtrees are commonplace flora. The terrain is calcareous, so the landscape shows impressive caves and natural archways and fountains. Tourism is the main economic resource. Fruit trees (especially orange and lemon trees), olive and almond trees are cultivated. The population of this comarca strongly increased in the last twenty years.

Aitana (Valencian: [ajˈtana], Spanish: [ajˈtana]) is a mountain massif that is part of Prebaetic System in the eastern end of the Iberian Peninsula. Administratively, the mountainous area is located in the Marina Baixa, Alcoià and Comtat comarcas in the northern part of Alicante province, Valencian Community, Spain. Its peak at 1,558 metres above sea level is the highest point of the province.

Finestrat (Valencian pronunciation: [finesˈtɾat]) is a municipality in the comarca of Marina Baixa, Alicante in the Valencian Community, Spain.

Puig Campana (Valencian pronunciation: [ˈputʃ kamˈpana], literally translated in English as Bell Peak) is a mountain forming part of the Prebaetic System in the southeast of Spain. With an altitude of 1,406 metres (4,613 ft), it is the second-highest peak in the province of Alicante. Puig Campana is located in the municipality of Finestrat only 10 km (6 mi) from the Mediterranean coast. From the base of the mountain it may seem that there is only one peak, but in fact there are two, the taller of which is not easily visible from the base of the mountain. The western of the two peaks has a pronounced crack or notch, historically this feature has been known colloquially as the El Portell (The Gate) although in recent times it has come to be known by a number of other names such as Roldan's Notch (Brecha or Tajo de Roldán in Spanish). A large part of the vegetation on the north eastern side of the mountain was burnt by a wildfire in 2009. The fire started on 24 January of that year when a high voltage electricity pylon was blown over by a strong wind. Some 1,000 hectares were reduced to ashes and around 15,000 people were evacuated from 25 urbanizations. The best method for the reforestation of the mountain is currently being studied. Although five years after the disaster the area is still in a state of complete abandon.

Benifato (Valencian: [beniˈfato]; Spanish: [beniˈfato]) is a Valencian town and municipality located in the comarca of Marina Baixa, in the province of Alicante, Spain. Benifato has an area of 11.9 km² and, according to the 2002 census, a total population of 164 inhabitants. The economy of Benifato is exclusively based on agriculture (olives, almonds and medlars). The most important monument in the town is the Catholic church of Sant Miquel (Saint Michael).

Beniardà (Valencian: [beniaɾˈða]; Spanish: Beniardá [benjaɾˈða]) is a municipality in the comarca of Marina Baixa in the Valencian Community, Spain. The economy of Beniardà is exclusively based on agriculture. The most important monument in the town is the Catholic church of Sant Joan Baptista, built in the 16th century.

Villajoyosa or La Vila Joiosa (Valencian: [la ˈvila dʒoˈjoza]) is a coastal town and municipality in the Province of Alicante, Valencian Community, Spain, by the Mediterranean Sea. The town is known to the locals simply as La Vila.It is the historic and administrative capital of the comarca of Marina Baixa and is located 32 km from the city of Alicante, in the coastal area known as Costa Blanca (White Coast). La Vila Joiosa literally means Joyful Town, although the inhabitants often abbreviate it to La Vila. It has over three kilometers of beaches, including La Platja Centre (Central Beach), close to the city centre. The river Amadorio runs through La Vila. The area is famous for its chocolate industry and tourism. One of the most popular tourist attractions is its Gothic Catholic church of the Assumption, with a Baroque altar piece. Another popular destination, the Royal Palm Casino (formerly Casino Costa Blanca), is now closed. The town's festival of Moros i Cristians, celebrated at the end of July, was declared an International Tourist Interest Festival. Currently, this festivity commemorates a boat landing from the Berber pirates that was repelled by the population of the town.

Abdet (Valencian: [abˈdet], Spanish: [aβˈðet]) is a small village in the Guadalest Valley of the Costa Blanca, Valencian Community in Spain. It is a hamlet of Confrides.

El Castell de Guadalest (Valencian pronunciation: [el kasˈteʎ de ɣwaðaˈlest]) or simply Guadalest (Spanish pronunciation: [ɡwaðaˈlest]), is a Valencian town and municipality located in a mountainous area of the comarca of Marina Baixa, in the province of Alicante, Spain. Guadalest has an area of 16 km² and, according to the 2002 census, a total population of 189 inhabitants.

Alcoleja (Valencian: [alkoˈledʒa]; Spanish: Alcolecha [alkoˈletʃa]) is a municipality in the comarca of Comtat in the Valencian Community, Spain.
