Dörfles-Esbach is a municipality in the district of Coburg in Bavaria in Germany.

Schloss Rosenau, called in English The Rosenau or Rosenau Palace, is a former castle, converted into a ducal country house, near the town of Rödental, formerly in Saxe-Coburg, now lying in Bavaria, Germany. Schloss Rosenau was the birthplace and boyhood home of Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, who, in 1840, became the husband and consort of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. It should not be confused with another house of the same name at Waldviertel in Austria.

The Itz Valley Autobahn Bridge (German: Itztalbrücke) is a twin Autobahn bridge carrying the Autobahn A73 across the Itz Valley directly to the south of Autobahn Junction 9 (Rödental exit), and close to Coburg on the northern edge of Bavaria in Germany. The Autobahn bridge, which has an approximately north-south axis, has been built approximately 25 meters to the west of the Itz Valley Railway Bridge. However, whereas the Autobahn bridge has been in use since 2007, the railway bridge has been unused since its completion in 2005 because the high speed line of which the railway bridge is part, though started in 1996, has been deprioritised and is not expected to be completed for some time.Constructed between 2004 and 2007 for a total cost of around €31.5 million, the Autobahn bridge is constructed of pre-stressed steel-concrete box girder sections. It is the longest bridge on the Autobahn A73, having a total length of 852 metres (2,795 ft) and a maximum height above the valley floor of 34 metres (112 ft).

Krebsbach is a river of Bavaria, Germany. It is a right tributary of the Itz near Rödental.

Cortendorf is a north-eastern district of the Bavarian city of Coburg.With a population of 1.349 and a size of 1.65 square kilometres (160 ha; 0.64 sq mi) it has a population density of 818 inhabitants/km2. Cortendorf is the location of the Wirtschaftsschule of Coburg and the Kindergarten of Cortendorf. Coburg (German pronunciation: [ˈkoːˌbʊʁk] ) is a town located on the Itz river in the Upper Franconia region of Bavaria, Germany. Coburg is the location of Veste Coburg, one of Germany's largest castles. Today, Coburg's population is close to 41,500. Since it was little damaged in World War II, Coburg retains many historic buildings, making it a popular tourist destination.

The so-called Table Jura or Plateau Jura (German: Tafeljura; French: le Jura tabulaire) is the northeastern extension of the Jura Mountains. It stands in opposition to the folded Jura (Faltenjura) of the Jura range proper. The Table Jura stretches across the Swiss cantons of Basel-Landschaft, Aargau, and Schaffhausen (Randen) into southern Germany (Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria), including the Hoher Randen, Baar, the Swabian Jura and the Franconian Jura. St. Augustine's Church (German: St. Augustin) is a parish church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Bamberg located in the Bavarian town of Coburg, Germany. It was built between 1856 and 1860. Originally designed in the Gothic Revival style, the church was remodelled in 1960 due to a liturgical reform. There is a crypt under the church that contains the remains of fifteen members of the Koháry branch of the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, a Roman Catholic branch of the originally Protestant ducal house.
