Montgomery Building (Spartanburg, South Carolina)

Central United Methodist Church is a historic church at 233 N. Church Street in Spartanburg, South Carolina.It was built in the 1880s, and remodeled in 1896 by architect George F. Barber. It was added to the National Register in 2003.

Cleveland Law Range is a historic office building located at Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina. It was built in 1898–1899, and is a three-story, Richardsonian Romanesque style brick building. It features five arched bays on the ground floor, with repeated bay arrangements on the second and third floors. Three South Carolina governors maintained offices in the Cleveland Law Range: James F. Byrnes, John Gary Evans, and Donald S. Russell.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Daniel Morgan Monument is a historic monument located at Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The statue was designed by John Quincy Adams Ward and the monument erected in 1881. The monument commemorates the centennial of the victory at the Revolutionary War Battle of Cowpens and its hero, General Daniel Morgan. The statue stands on a columnar granite shaft on an octagonal base designed by noted Charleston architect, Edward Brickell White. In 1960, the monument was moved about 100 yards across Morgan Square to its east end. However, in 2005 as part of a larger project involving the redesign and reconstruction of Morgan Square, the monument was returned to its original position at the corner of West Main and Magnolia Streets and its original orientation, facing Cowpens National Battlefield.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Palmetto Theater was a historic movie theater located at Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina. It was built in 1940–1941, and was a one-story, rectangular plan brick building. It featured a large marquee and a separate shop storefront decorated in blue Carrera-glass panels. The interior featured double balconies, Terrazzo flooring, large Art Deco light fixtures, decorative wall painting, and a plaster Art Deco screen surround.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. It has since been demolished.

Hotel Oregon, also known as Oakman Drugs, Oakman Glass, and Spartan Hotel, is a historic hotel building located at Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina. It was built in 1909, and is a three-story, brick building with two first floor storefronts. It features horizontal granite belt courses, decorative brick panels, brick cornices, and a stepped front parapet.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium is a large-events venue in Spartanburg, South Carolina, located at 385 N Church St. It was built in 1951 and consists of a 3,217-seat theater with an 83'9"-by-86' stage and a 1,600-seat Exhibit Hall with 13,638 square feet (Dimensions: 83.5'-by-163'4") of exhibit space. The auditorium, with 2,017 seats on the lower level and 1,200 in the two balconies (834 lower balcony and 366 upper balcony seats), is used for concerts, stage and family shows, and other events, and is one of South Carolina's largest theaters. The arena is used for concerts, trade shows, banquets, wrestling, and other events. Frank Evans High School, also known as Evans Junior High School, is a historic high school building located at Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina. It was built in 1922, with additions completed in 1925 and 1928. It is a three-story, Collegiate Gothic style, masonry school building. The school became a junior high school in 1959 when the new Spartanburg High School was built.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.In summer 2009, Spartanburg Community College announced plans for a downtown Spartanburg presence, utilizing the historic Evans Building. Their goal was to provide a campus that would offer convenient access for under-served city residents. Classes began in Fall 2013 at the renovated building, referred to by SCC as the Evans Academic Center.The building renovation received the 2015 Adaptive Reuse Citation Award from the American Institute of Architects’ South Carolina Chapter. The building also earned a LEED Silver certification.

Bishop William Wallace Duncan House, also known as the DuPre House, is a historic home located at Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina. It was designed by G. L. Norrman and built about 1886. It is a two-story, asymmetrical, clapboard and cedar shingled dwelling in the Queen Anne style. It has a high-pitched roof pierced by six chimneys, a decorative mosaic tile front porch landing, a massive wood shingle-clad cylindrical tower, and stained glass windows. It was moved from its original location at 249 N. Church St. to its present location in November 1999.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, delisted in 2005, and relisted in 2009.

Russell C. King Field is a baseball venue located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States. It is home to the Wofford Terriers college baseball team of the Division I Southern Conference. It has a capacity of 2,500 spectators.Of the 2,500 spectator capacity, 833 is made up of permanent, chair-backed seating. The remainder consists of berm-style seating down either foul line. The field also features stadium lighting.
