Sunshine Studios is an international dance organisation. It was founded by hip-hop teacher Jerry Tse (a.k.a. JV) in Manchester, England, in 2006 with his flat mate Tim Barlow. Sunshine Studios gives artists of various performing and visual arts studio space and the chance to run public classes. It uses a similar business model to other dance studios such as Pineapple Studios in London and Steps On Broadway in New York City. The studios offer a variety of workshops and nearly 100 classes per week. These include urban art, live music, hip-hop, ballet, tap, jazz, salsa, pilates, pole-dancing, flamenco, cheerleading, contemporary dance, breakdancing and other forms of performing arts.

50 Newton Street is a Grade II listed former warehouse in Manchester, England. Located on Newton Street in the Northern Quarter area, it was built in 1906-8 by a design from Charles Clegg & Son. It was designed with a degree of flair and panache and is described by English Heritage as an example of "Free Baroque" architecture. The hat factory it replaced was destroyed by fire in 1906.

The Manchester Roadhouse was a basement music club based at number 8 Newton Street in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. In March 2015 it was announced that it was to close for business later that year.

The Northern Quarter (N4 or NQ) is an area of Manchester city centre, England, between Piccadilly station, Victoria station and Ancoats, centred on Oldham Street, just off Piccadilly Gardens. It was defined and named in the 1990s as part of the regeneration and gentrification of Manchester. A centre of alternative and bohemian culture, the area includes Newton Street (borders with Piccadilly Basin), Great Ancoats Street (borders with Ancoats), Back Piccadilly (borders with Piccadilly Gardens) and Swan Street/High Street (borders with Shudehill/Arndale). Jackson's Warehouse (also known as Jacksons Warehouse) is a nineteenth-century warehouse in the Piccadilly Basin area of Manchester.

Dale Street Warehouse is an early 19th century warehouse in the Piccadilly Basin area of Manchester city centre, England. It is a Grade II* listed building as of 10 November 1972. It is the earliest surviving canal warehouse in the city. The building is dated 1806 with the initials "WC" on the datestone indicating that it was designed by William Crosley, an engineer who worked with William Jessop on the inner-Manchester canal system. Constructed of watershot millstone grit blocks, the four-storey building has timber floors, supported throughout by cast-iron columns, a feature which now makes it unique amongst Manchester warehouses. The base of the building incorporates four boatholes which allowed boats to unload their cargoes inside of the warehouse. The warehouse also incorporates a "subterranean wheel-pit containing a 16-foot water-wheel used to drive hoists both in this building and in a former warehouse to the south via a line-shaft tunnel which mostly survives beneath the car-park".For many years, the building was a shop and was described in 2000 as "sadly neglected"; the warehouse has now been converted to office space and a café and renamed Carver's Warehouse.

The City is a Grade II listed public house on Oldham Street in Manchester, England. The building originated as two dwellings constructed before 1782 and was combined into a pub by 1800, first known as the Prince of Orange and later as the King's Arms in the mid‑19th century. It acquired its current name at a later date. The pub closed in 2022 and reopened in 2024 following refurbishment.

One Port Street is a residential building in Manchester, England. Located on the edge of the city's Northern Quarter, it comprises a 100 m (330 ft) tall, 33-storey tower fronting on to Port Street, an 11-storey block facing Great Ancoats Street, as well as 9-storey and 7-storey elements. It was designed by SimpsonHaugh architects. As of March 2025, One Port Street is the 26th-tallest building in Greater Manchester.

The Brunswick Hotel (now trading as The Brunswick) is a Grade II listed historic public house at the corner of Paton Street and Piccadilly in Manchester, England. Built in the early 19th century, the property originally comprised a hotel with two adjoining townhouses, which were later combined and adapted for use as licensed premises.

107 Piccadilly is a Grade-II listed building on Lena Street in Manchester, England. Situated near Piccadilly Gardens, it was originally built as a packing warehouse and showroom with offices for cotton manufacturer Sparrow Hardwick & Company. It was designed by influential Mancunian architect Charles Heathcote in a lively Jacobean-Baroque style. The building was completed in 1899. The exterior consists of red sandstone and red brick. The five-storey has an eye-catching central gable on the front façade reminiscent of Jacobean architecture. The use of arched and square windows give the building a playful appearance. The building gained Grade-II listing in 1974. It has since been converted to an Abode Hotel and restaurant.
