The Public Library of Valencia is the main library of the city of Valencia. As an institution, it was founded in 1838. However, it was not until 1979 when it was relocated to its present location, the main building of the former Hospital for the Poor Innocents.

The Botanical Garden of the University of Valencia (Valencian: Jardí Botànic de la Universitat de València) is a botanical garden located on calle Quart in El Botànic neighbourhood of Valencia, Spain. The garden depends administratively on the University of Valencia. It is a member of Botanical Gardens Conservation International (BGCI).The University was growing herbs for medicinal purposes as early as the 16th century. A botanical garden was projected from the mid-18th century, and the Garden opened on its present site in 1802. It remains a centre for study, education and public use.

The Pelayo trinquet (Valencian: trinquet de Pelayo) is one of the most renowned trinquets courts of the Valencian pilota sport in Valencia. The most important Escala i corda competitions, such as the Circuit Bancaixa, have their final matches played there.

The Church of Santos Juanes or Sant Joan del Mercat is a Catholic church located in the Mercat neighborhood of the city of Valencia, Spain. The church is also denominated the Real Parroquia de los Santos Juanes (Royal Parish of the St Johns) or San Juan del Mercado (Sant Joan del Mercat in Valencian or St John of the Market) due to its location adjacent to the city Central Market and facing the Llotja de la Seda building. By the mid-13th century, a church was built atop the site of a former mosque, initially in a Gothic style; however, fires in the 14th century necessitated reconstruction. A major fire in 1592 led to another reconstruction, commissioned by the Archbishop and Viceroy Juan de Ribera in an exuberant Baroque style completed in 1700. This was located in the Boatella neighborhood, then working class quarters, outside the town walls, that housed some of the Morisco population. The main facade of the church retains a walled-up oculus of a rose window from the older church. The square exterior of the apse, facing the piazza, houses a central niche decorated with a stucco statuary group of the Virgen del Rosario (Virgin of the Rosary) attributed to Jacopo Bertesi. The group display the Virgin and Child (his hand on the globe) ensconced in a burst of rays, angels, and cherubs. Other portals contain the symbols of John the Baptist (lamb) and John the Evangelist (eagle). The center is surmounted by a clock tower, and a roofline dominated by statues of the Juanes: including the Baptist, the Evangelist, and Saints Francesco Borgia and Luis Bertrán. This facade includes profuse complex iconography including a lamb atop a book with five seals. The interior has statues depicting the 12 tribes of Israel, also by Bertesi, and large ceiling frescoes depicting numerous themes of the Church Triumphant by Antonio Palomino. The church interiors, including the frescoes, suffered arson damage during the Spanish Civil War.

Valencia City Hall (Spanish: Casa consistorial de Valencia; Catalan: Palau consistorial de València) is the seat of local government in Valencia, Spain. It was declared a Bien de Interés Cultural in 1962.The structure is made of two buildings which were constructed at different times: a school building and then the new façade. The building also includes the Municipal History Museum. The museum was opened in what was a chapel of the school building in 1927, and includes the Room of the Fueros, where Ramón Stolz Viciano painted eight medieval monarchs in 1956, starting with the city's conqueror James II of Aragon.From November 1936 to October 1937, the city hall shared its chamber with the Cortes Generales of the Second Spanish Republic, during the early stages of the Spanish Civil War. On 28 May 1937, it was bombed by the Italian Air Force in service of the Nationalist faction, causing 2 million Spanish pesetas in damage. During the war, to protect the children educated at the city hall, an underground bomb shelter was added with capacity for 700 people.

The Lonja de la Seda or Llotja de la Seda (Valencian pronunciation: [ˈʎɔdʒa ðe la ˈseða], English "Silk Exchange") is a late Valencian Gothic-style civil building in Valencia, Spain. It is a principal tourist attraction in the city.

Xàtiva is a metro station of the Metrovalencia network in Valencia, Spain. It is situated on Carrer de Xàtiva, in the southern part of the city centre. It is an interchange station with access to the main railway station. The station is an underground structure.

The Prehistory Museum of Valencia is a museum of the city of Valencia (Spain) that exposes archaeological materials covering from Paleolithic to the Visigoths period. From 1982 it has been part of The Old House of Charity, built in 1841 which highlights the Byzantine style church built in 1881. The Font de Mussa Mosaic is one of the most highlighted pieces.In 1995 began the complete restoration of the building, carried out by the architect Rafael Rivera. The House of Charity, now the Museum of Prehistory, has a ground floor and two stories arranged around five courtyards. On the ground floor are located the shop, cafeteria, two temporary exhibition rooms, workshops, warehouses and the Restoration and Quaternary Wildlife laboratories, as well as offices of the Prehistoric Research Service, while the Church has become the Hall. On the first floor are the Library and the Permanent Facilities dedicated to Paleolithic Neolithic and Bronze Age. On the second floor permanent galleries devoted to the Iberian culture and the Roman World.

The Valencian Museum of Ethnology (Museu Valencià d'Etnologia) is a museum located in the city of Valencia, mediterranean Spain. The museum mission defines it as cultural institution primarily devoted to collect, research and communicate the tangible and intangible heritage related to traditional and popular Valencian culture. The mission underlines that the museum also aims to permanently question fundamental aspects of the culture, as the dynamics that built it and force it to evolve, as well as its diversity. Although fundamentally devoted to Valencian cultural identity within a Mediterranean context, this museum also works to give visitors the chance to understand the challenges and dynamics of culture as a whole and from a contemporary perspective.
