The Gota de Leche Building is a heritage site located in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines. It was designated as an Important Cultural Property by the National Museum of the Philippines in August 2014. The cultural heritage site was named an Honourable Mention in the 2003 UNESCO Asia Pacific Heritage Awards.

FEU Institute of Technology, also referred to as FEU Tech, is a private, non-sectarian, coeducational higher education institution in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines. It offers courses in the fields of Engineering and Computer Studies. Established in 1992 as East Asia Computer Center, Inc.(EACCI), an educational partnership of Asia Pacific Computer Technology Center, Intelligent Wave Inc., and Far Eastern University. FEU Tech is an Institute of Technology. It is cited by the Commission on Higher Education as a Center of Development in IT Education (CoD).FEU Tech operates under the aegis of the Far Eastern University; it follows and is directly connected to the University. It is headed by Dr. Michael M. Alba as President and Dr. Benson T. Tan as Senior Executive Director. Like its sister schools, FEU Diliman and FEU Alabang, the college runs on a trimester academic system. An academic year starts in the second week of August and ends every June.

The University of the East (Filipino: Pamantasan ng Silangan), also known as UE, is a private university located in Manila, Philippines. Founded in 1946, business tycoon Lucio Tan acquired the university in 1990. UE was once labeled as the "largest university in Asia" when its enrollment in the past reached over 65,000 students.The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) granted UE autonomous status and recognized 2 of its programs as Center of Excellence and 1 program as Center of Development. UE offers degree programs from basic education to graduate studies. UE has two other campuses, one in Caloocan, and its medical school, the UE Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center located in Aurora Blvd., Dona Imelda, Quezon City.

The University of Manila (UM) (Filipino: Ang Pamantasan ng Maynila), is a private, non-sectarian coeducational basic and higher education institution in the heart of Sampaloc District in Manila, Philippines. It was founded on October 5, 1913 as the Instituto de Manila, by Apolinario G. de los Santos, Mariano V. de los Santos, Maria de los Santos, Buenaventura J. Bello and Antonio Rivero. The first three were siblings. They named their school Instituto de Manila, after the city of Manila and Apolinario G. de los Santos was elected as the first director of the school. The University was first situated in Binondo and offered primary and secondary education. It then moved to Sampaloc, Manila.

The Afable building is a 3-storey structure in Manila. It is located on a trapezoidal lot at the corner of Nicanor Reyes st. (previously Morayta st.) and Lerma St. facing España Boulevard. The building possesses a façade both from its original design in 1932 (Lerma side) and the post war renovation in 1960 (Nicanor Reyes side) both designed by Filipino architect Pablo Antonio Sr. who is well known for Art Deco and later on became a National Artist in Architecture in 1976. Possibly the oldest still standing work of Pablo Antonio Sr. as of 2016.

San Sebastian College – Recoletos (SSC-R), commonly known by its nickname Bastê, is a private Catholic coeducational basic and higher education institution run by the Order of Augustinian Recollects in Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is one of the six schools owned and operated by the Order of Augustinian Recollects in the Philippines. It was founded by the Augustinian Recollects in March 1941. SSC-R, situated in the heart of Manila, in F. R. Hidalgo Street, Quiapo, was named after Roman centurion turned martyr Saint Sebastian. The College had a humble beginning. Its first functional lone building was an old convent: a two-storey Hispanic edifice made of stone and wood with capiz shell windows. The building served as classrooms of the first batch of 200 elementary and high school enrollees. SSC-R was then an exclusive school for boys. SSC-R was established in March 1941 but was in hiatus from 1942 to 1945 during World War II. It formally reopened after the war in 1947. The term Sebastinian, Filipino: Sebastino, refers to alumni and current students, teaching and non-teaching personnel as well as administrators of San Sebastian College-Recoletos. The College was granted Level 3 accreditation by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities or PAASCU in the Elementary department, High School Department and the College Department, including the Graduate Studies and College of Law. San Sebastian College–Recoletos, Manila maintains the lone and highest slot in Tourism being accredited Level 3 by PAASCU, as well as its Social Sciences programs, Business Administration and Psychology courses.

The Casa Consulado, also known as Iturralde Mansion or Iturralde House, is a heritage house located in Quiapo, Manila, Philippines. The house typifies the architectural style of Bandehadong Bahay na Bato that was common during the 1920s in the Philippines.

Far Eastern University (Filipino: Pamantasan ng Malayong Silanganan), also referred to by its acronym FEU, is a private non-sectarian university in Manila, Philippines. Created by the merger of Far Eastern College and the Institute of Accounts, Business and Finance, FEU became a university in 1934 under the guidance of its first president, Nicanor Reyes Sr. The first accountancy school for Filipinos, the university, through the years, has expanded its course offerings to the arts and sciences, architecture, fine arts, education, engineering, computer studies, graduate studies, tourism and hotel management, law, nursing, and medicine. FEU has seven campuses located in Metro Manila, Cavite and Rizal. It offers programs from elementary, secondary, tertiary, to graduate school. FEU Manila comprises several Institutes that offer specific programs. The accountancy program, along with its other undergraduate programs, have received the highest Level IV accreditation from the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). The Minor Basilica of San Sebastian (Filipino: Basilika Menor ng San Sebastian; Spanish: Basílica Menor de San Sebastián), better known as San Sebastian Church (Filipino: Simbahan ng San Sebastian) or San Sebastian Basilica, is a minor basilica of the Roman Catholic Church in Manila, Philippines. It is the church of the Parish of San Sebastian, and also a Shrine of Nuestra Senora del Monte Carmelo, or Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Completed in 1891, San Sebastian Church is noted for its architecture. An example of the Gothic Revival architecture in the Philippines, it is the only steel building church in the Philippines. It was designated as a National Historical Landmark in 1973 and as a National Cultural Treasure in 2011.San Sebastian Church is under the care of the Order of Augustinian Recollects, who also operate the San Sebastian College-Recoletos adjacent to the basilica. It is located at Plaza del Carmen, at the eastern end of Recto Avenue, in Quiapo, Manila.

The Beaterio de Terciarias Agustinas Recoletas was the oldest convent for the Augustinian Recollect Order in the world established to meet the material and spiritual needs of pious women in the early part of the 18th century in the Philippines. The beaterio was founded by Dionisia de Santa Maria Mitas Talangpaz and Cecilia Rosa de Jesús Talangpaz, two Filipino sisters, both in blood and spirit, who hailed from barrio San Miguel of Calumpit, Bulacan. The convent's name was later changed to Beaterio de San Sebastian de Calumpang, but presently, it is now popularly known as the Congregation of the Augustinian Recollect Sisters. It is one of the three continuing congregation founded for native women in Asia after the Amantes de la Croix, was founded in Vietnam in 1670, and the Beaterio de la Compania de Jesus, now the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary, was founded in Manila in 1684. The original site of the beaterio was located inside Saint Rita College - Manila, one of the first three houses of the Augustinian Recollect Sisters, before it got damaged.
