California High School (San Ramon, California)

The San Ramon Valley is a valley and region in Contra Costa County and Alameda County, in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area in northern California.

The Forest Home Farms is a 16-acre (6.5-hectare) municipal historic park located in San Ramon, California. In 1997, Ruth Quayle Boone bequeathed the land and all buildings on it to the City of San Ramon for use as a park and historical site in memory of her husband, Travis Moore Boone. After Ruth Boone's death in 1998 at the age of 94, the City expanded the memorial to include Ruth, in honor of her generosity to the people of San Ramon and in recognition of the contribution women made to agriculture in the San Ramon Valley.

The Dougherty Hills are a mountain range in Contra Costa County, California.

Bishop Ranch Regional Preserve (BRRP), also known as Bishop Ranch Regional Open Space Preserve is a 444-acre (1.80 km2) regional park on a ridge top at the edge of San Ramon, California. It is near a residential area, west of San Ramon Valley Road and south of Bollinger Canyon Road. Trails are steep and there are no facilities other than a trailhead. It is part of the East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD).Bishop Ranch preserve is primarily a place for observing nature. There are three trails for hiking biking and horseback riding, but no facilities for picnicking or camping. The steep terrain makes the trails generally unsuitable for wheelchairs.In August, 2015, EBRPD announced that it had acquired a 362 acres (1.46 km2) tract along the Calaveras Ridge that will be added to BRRP, connecting Bishop Ranch with Dublin Hills Regional Park.. EBRPD board member Beverly Lane said this is part of an EBRPD plan to create a continuous trail that will reach from Sunol to Lafayette through six regional parks. It cost $2 million, and was previously owned by the Wiedemann family, which had raised cattle here since the 1860s. The new addition includes the local landmark, Harlan Hill, which rises to an elevation of 1,719 feet (524 m). EBRPD must complete a land-use plan for the Bishop Ranch open space, before it can open this new acquisition for public use.

San Ramon Village is a historical unincorporated community in Alameda County, California. It was located north-northeast of Dublin, at an elevation of 354 feet (108 m). It is now a neighborhood within the city of Dublin.

Dublin High School is a four-year high school located in the East San Francisco Bay Area. It is the only currently operating high school in the Dublin Unified School District—as another high school in the city has yet to be constructed and operational—and serves about 3,500 students.

Rancho San Ramon (St. Raymond Ranch in Spanish) was a 20,968-acre (84.85 km2) Mexican land grant in the southern San Ramon Valley of present-day Contra Costa County, California. Rancho San Ramon (Pacheco-Castro) was adjacent in the northern San Ramon Valley. It was given in 1834 by Governor Jose Figueroa to Jose Maria Amador.The five-square-league (60 square miles) San Ramon grant stretched down the San Ramon Valley from what is now southern Danville on the north to Dublin on the south, and from the crest of the western ridge to the crest of the east, and encompassed present-day Dougherty Valley. The Dublin area was called "Amador" for many years.

Valley Christian Schools offers a college preparatory education to students ranging from preschool through twelfth grade. VCS is located 35 miles (56 km) southeast of San Francisco, in the Dublin hills, and resides on a 55-acre (220,000 m2) campus overlooking the Tri-Valley.

Dublin (formerly, Amador and Dougherty's Station) is a suburban city of the East Bay in California. It is located within the Amador Valley of Alameda County's Tri-Valley region. It is located along the north side of Interstate 580 at the intersection with Interstate 680, roughly 35 miles (56 km) east of downtown San Francisco, 23 miles (37 km) east of downtown Oakland, and 31 miles (50 km) north of downtown San Jose. It was referred to as "Dublin" in reference to the city of Dublin, Ireland, because of the large number of Irish who lived there. The post office formally adopted the name in the 1890s.The population was 72,589 as of the 2020 census, which had grown from 46,063 in 2010. In 2013, Dublin was the second fastest-growing city in the state of California, behind only Santa Clarita. In 2019, census data showed Dublin as one of the fastest-growing cities in the country. Dublin was formerly home to the headquarters of Sybase, Inc (now part of SAP SE) and is currently home to the headquarters for CallidusCloud, Patelco Credit Union, Ross Stores, TriNet, Medley Health, Challenge Dairy and Arlen Ness.
