Midsommarkransen

Midsommarkransen metro station is a station on the red line of the Stockholm metro, located in the district of Midsommarkransen. The station was opened on 5 April 1964 as part of the first stretch of the Red line, between T-Centralen and Fruängen. The distance to Slussen is 4.6 km (2.9 mi). This is the last underground station in line 14 heading in the west direction.

The Västberga helicopter robbery occurred on 23 September 2009 at 05:15 CET when a G4S cash service depot was robbed in Västberga in southern Stockholm, Sweden. The robbers used a stolen Bell 206 Jet Ranger as transport and landed on the rooftop of the G4S building.The police were unable to use their own helicopters to pursue the robbers since decoy bombs had been placed close to them. A 7-million-Swedish-krona reward was announced the following day for anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the robbers and/or the return of the stolen goods. This was the first robbery involving a helicopter in Swedish history.

Nyboda depot (in Swedish: Nybodadepån or Nybodahallen) is a garage/depot for subway trains and buses of Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (SL), located in Liljeholmen, Stockholm Municipality, along Hägerstensvägen and under Essingeleden. Nybodadepån is connected with Liljeholmen metro station via a bridge over Hägerstensvägen and a tunnel in the mountain under Nybohov. Nybodadepån started operations for buses and trams in 1945, then called Brännkyrkahallen. 1963–64, it was rebuilt to be adapted for the cars of Stockholm Metro. It could house 30 railway cars on four tracks in a bus garage and another 64 on four tracks in two rock tunnels. 2001–2002, it was rebuilt to be adapted for the new C20 metro cars and was further upgraded to C30s in 2019.Around 100 persons are employed at the depot, which is one of five depots serving the Stockholm metro system.

Trekanten (English: The Triangle) is a small lake in southern-central Stockholm, Sweden. Trekanten is located in a park furnished with an artificial bathing beach and various planted-out fish species. It has a small drainage area with no major feeders. In the early 1980s, potable water was poured into the lake while water from the bottom of the lake was pumped out. These operations resulted in a significant reduction in levels of phosphorus but failed to affect levels of nutrients and oxygen depletion in the bottom layers. Levels of lead and copper are among the highest documented in any lake in Stockholm. Whilst the lake flora and fauna is roughly representative for Stockholm, the lake forms a natural link between the bays Årstaviken and Vinterviken.

Aspudden (Aspen cape) is a district of the Hägersten-Liljeholmen borough in Söderort, the southern suburban part of Stockholm. Metro line 13 stops at Aspudden metro station.

Liljeholmen is a district of the Hägersten-Liljeholmen borough in Söderort, the southern suburban part of Stockholm.

Liljeholmen is a Stockholm metro station in the city's southern Liljeholmen district. It is on the Red line (T13 and T14). The station is also an interchange with the Tvärbanan tramway, and a bus terminal. Liljeholmen metro station is also connected to Nybodadepån, a depot/garage for subway trains and buses, which is located in the south part of Liljeholmen. Liljeholmen was opened on 5 April 1964 as part of the first stretch of the Red line, between T-Centralen and Fruängen, with a branch to Örnsberg. It was a surface-level station with two platforms and only one exit at the southern part of the station, where it was a bus terminal. But since 2000, there is also a second exit towards the north part of Liljeholmen, which is connected to the Tvärbanan tramway station Liljeholmen. In the beginning of the 2000s (decade), the station was rebuilt to an underground-station, with a new 3rd platform for trains towards Fruängen/Norsborg, which is connected to a new underground-bus-terminal, and above the station, new squares and houses were built.

Telefonplan metro station ("Telephone Square") is an outdoor station on Line 14 in the Stockholm metro. The station is located in the borough of Hägersten. It was opened on 5 April 1964 as part of the first stretch of Metro 2, between T-Centralen and Fruängen.Unlike most of the stations lying nearby, namely among others Midsommarkransen and Hägerstensåsen, the station's name does not refer to any specific area or a specific suburb. Instead, the station's name refers to a small square situated just west of the station's main entrance. The subway station initially mainly served the Ericsson headquarters, Ericsson's main factory and the nearby serviced apartments of its workers. Ericsson's headquarters moved to Kista in 2003. Nowadays, the facilities of the factory have been taken over by the Swedish University College of Arts, and there are plans to build a design center close to the station. The area immediately east of the station is partially a construction site for new residential buildings, and plans to reconstruct the underground station as well as the whole area of Telefonplan are well developed. There were plans to build two skyscrapers named Tellus Towers, which would have had an entrance from the metro station. This plan is being reevaluated as of 2020.Indie music club Landet is situated a few hundred meters from the station, making the station and the area more crowded at nighttime than ever before. The station also serves the inhabitants of Västberga, and buses to closely situated to Solberga and Älvsjö start from here.

Konstfack, or University of Arts, Crafts and Design, is a university college for higher education in the area of art, crafts and design in Stockholm, Sweden.

Gröndal (Green Valley) is a district of the Hägersten-Liljeholmen borough in Söderort, the southern suburban part of Stockholm. The name Gröndal means Green Dale or Green Valley. Gröndal developed as a working class and industrial suburb after the opening of Liljeholmen freight station in the 1860s. The district was a part of Liljeholmen municipal community in the Brännkyrka municipality until 1913, when Brännkyrka was incorporated into the city of Stockholm.
