Kilby Provincial Park

Harrison Hill (622m) is a small mountain located at the confluence of the Harrison and Fraser Rivers in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Canada. Harrison Knob (~225m) is a prominent shoulder to the east of the main peak of Harrison Hill. Harrison Hill and Harrison Knob are on the north side of the Fraser opposite Chilliwack, Harrison Knob overlooks the confluence directly, Harrison Hill itself separates the Fraser downstream from that confluence and overlooks on its north Harrison Bay, a large, shallow lake-like sidewater of the Harrison River, while at its western foot is the community of Lake Errock. At its eastern foot, just below Harrison Knob, had been the formerly large sawmill town of Harrison Mills, which spanned both sides of the Harrison and was served by the mainline of the Canadian Pacific Railway, which runs along the north side of the mountain's base. The Indian Reserves of the Scowlitz First Nation are at the western end of Harrison Bay and at its outlet at its eastern end, while the reserve of the Chehalis First Nation is along its north shore, and Kilby is on its east shore.

Harrison Mills, formerly Carnarvon and also Harrison River, is an agricultural farming and tourism-based community in the District of Kent west of Agassiz, British Columbia. The community is a part of the Fraser Valley Regional District. Harrison Mills is home to the British Columbia Heritage Kilby Museum and Campground.

The Harrison River is a short but large tributary of the Fraser River, entering it near the community of Chehalis, British Columbia, Canada. The Harrison drains Harrison Lake and is the de facto continuation of the Lillooet River, which feeds the lake. The Harrison is navigable, although in the days of the Fraser Canyon Gold Rush of it was necessary to dredge the sandbars at the confluence with the Fraser, which were known as "the Riffles", and also as "the Falls of the Harrison". Dredging of these shallows was needed to make the river navigable to Harrison Lake, at the north end of which the townsite of Port Douglas was established as the port for the Douglas Road to Lillooet in the upper Fraser Canyon, in order to bypass hostile territory in the lower Canyon (see Fraser Canyon War). There are also small rapids and difficult water in the first stretch of the river downstream from Harrison Lake, which is a forested canyon. Below the confluence of the Chehalis River, at the bridge between Chehalis and the Municipality of Kent, the river widens into a wide backwater, Harrison Bay, then from there joins the Fraser. In addition to the aforementioned bridge (Hwy 7) the Harrison is also crossed by the mainline of the Canadian Pacific Railway at the site of the former milltown of Harrison Mills and the heritage post office and store preserved as Kilby Provincial Park.

Harrison Bay is a lake-like expansion of the Harrison River, located west of its main course adjacent to the communities of Chehalis and Harrison Mills in the Canadian province of British Columbia. Extremely shallow, the bay outlets to the Fraser at Harrison Mills, where in pre-gold rush times there had been a "riffle", which was dredged to enable easier steamer traffic to Harrison Lake and Port Douglas. The bay has been used as a log sort but is primarily recreational in use today, with the Scowlitz Indian Band running a beach and campground at its western end, on Squawkum Creek Indian Reserve No. 3, which is at the southwest corner of Harrison Bay. Between it and the Fraser lies Harrison Hill, known in Upriver Halkomelem as Qithyll, which is an ancient burial ground currently under investigation by the First Nation in a joint effort with Simon Fraser University's archaeology department.. Adjacent to Kilby Provincial Park and the site of Harrison Mills are Williams Indian Reserve No. 2 and Scowlitz Indian Reserve No. 1

Lake Errock is a lake at the community of the same name, located between Chehalis and Deroche in the Upper Fraser Valley of the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Canada. It lies southwest of Harrison Bay, a sidewater of the Harrison River west of Chehalis, and is separated from the nearby Fraser River by a large rocky hill. Originally named Squakum Lake, the name was adapted to that of the Lake Errock Post Office in 1964.

Fairfield Island is a residential and rural suburb of Chilliwack, British Columbia. Bounded by the Bell Slough and the Fraser River to the north, and the Hope Slough to the south, it is the northernmost neighbourhood in Chilliwack.

Lake Errock is an unincorporated community in the Fraser Valley region of southwestern British Columbia. Housing exists primarily on the northwestern shore of the same named lake, which lies southwest of Harrison Bay. The locality, on BC Highway 7, is by road about 23 kilometres (14 mi) west of Agassiz, 95 kilometres (59 mi) east of Vancouver, and 28 kilometres (17 mi) east of Mission.

Chilliwack Secondary is a public high school in Chilliwack, British Columbia part of School District 33 Chilliwack. The first Chilliwack Secondary was established in 1903. The school moved to its present site in 1950. It is finished construction converting it to a hybrid high school and community centre. The project was completed in 2013.

Fraser Valley Distance Education School (FVDES) is one of the largest distance education schools in British Columbia, Canada. It offers both online and paper-based distance learning from kindergarten to grade 12. FVDES's students include both school age and adult learners. Most live in the Lower Mainland of B.C., but a growing number live in other areas of the province or overseas. FVDES is a publicly funded school that follows the British Columbia school curriculum and offers full "Dogwood" certification upon graduation. Founded in 1990, Fraser Valley Distance Education School is part of a provincial group of nine distance education schools located throughout British Columbia. These schools have their roots in traditional correspondence distance education but are rapidly undergoing change to provide online (or internet) course delivery. FVDES currently has over 500 full-time online learners. The school also has around 3000 correspondence students who use predominantly paper-based correspondence materials, although many are starting to enroll in the new online course offerings. In addition, there are approximately 300 part-time online students. Two new areas of growth are adult learners and students who continue to attend regular "brick and mortar" schools. FVDES's online and paper-based programs offer different features and different ways of learning. Online courses are more structured, and feature full-time teacher support and online instruction. They also have email access, virtual classrooms and discussion groups. Correspondence booklets (though not textbooks) have largely been phased out of the online courses. On the other hand, correspondence (paper-based) courses offer greater flexibility and a wide range of course options. Students may take some courses online and others by paper; students make their choice based on their personal needs. At the elementary level, optional portfolio-based assessment is a popular option. To address the needs of online learners, the school has moved rapidly to incorporate online course offerings and is currently undergoing unprecedented growth. FVDES now offers a complete selection of the core academic courses, including Planning 10 and provincial exam courses like Math 12, History 12, and Biology 12. More elective courses are under development. FVDES is dedicated to offering individual teachers for each course, rather than providing non-specialist tutors. Over the past three years, the on-site staff has grown to twenty-five elementary, middle school and senior secondary teacher, plus five special needs teachers and four teaching assistants. Technical help has also grown from a single part-time technician to two full-time technicians. Other developments at FVDES include an expanded number of field trips (for example, swimming, skiing, geocaching, skating) and regularly scheduled art-based activities.

Chilliwack Central Elementary Community is a public elementary school in Chilliwack, British Columbia part of School District 33 Chilliwack.

Exhibition Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Chilliwack, British Columbia. It is the home of the Fraser Valley Huskers of the Canadian Junior Football League. It is one of the few stadiums with covered seating in the country that has a playing field with no running track around it. The stadium seats 2,500.

The Chilliwack Cultural Centre is a performing arts venue located in downtown Chilliwack, one hour east of Vancouver, British Columbia. The $22 million cultural facility celebrated its grand opening on September 25, 2010 with a concert by Lisa Howard, Jason Graae, David Burnham, Jessica Hendy, and Scott Coulter. The facility is located on City-owned land at The Landing, adjacent to existing sports and recreation facilities, as well as Prospera Centre, and took two years to build.
