The Keiter Mound (designated 33-Cn-15) is a Native American mound in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. Located north of the city of Wilmington, it sits on a wooded hill above the stream bottom of a small secondary creek, the Anderson Fork. About 5.5 feet (1.7 m) tall at its highest point, the mound measures 58 feet (18 m) from north to south and 65 feet (20 m) from east to west. Due to its location, the Keiter Mound is believed to be a work of Hopewellian peoples. Unlike many Hopewell sites, such as the Newark Earthworks or Mound City, the Keiter Mound is isolated: no other mounds and no large geometric earthworks are located nearby. As such, it is likely to have been created by small groups of transient hunters who camped in the valley below. This identification is based on the mound's location and comparison with similar mounds: as the mound has never been substantially excavated, it likely holds the same grave goods as it did when it was constructed thousands of years ago. The top is flat and slightly scarred, possibly from an early excavation, but for all practical purposes the mound is in pristine condition. For this reason, it is a significant archaeological site: it is an unusually well preserved example of isolate Hopewell construction and might be able to yield important information about the Hopewell way of life. In recognition of its archaeological significance, the Keiter Mound was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Eaton Township was a township of Warren County, Ohio, United States. It was created on June 26, 1806, from the eastern part of Wayne Township beyond Caesars Creek. When Clinton County was created in 1815, most of the land became part of Clinton County.

The Ohio Renaissance Festival is an annual event that takes place on weekends from Labor Day weekend through the end of October. This Renaissance festival is held at a permanent site located near Harveysburg in Warren County, Ohio. It was voted Best Festival in Warren County in 2011.The Ohio Renaissance Festival was started by Peter Carroll, and was bought in 2015 by Brimstone and Fire LLC. It has grown into a 30-acre (120,000 m2) permanent village with over 166 shops and 17 outdoor stages. The festival is set in the fictional 16th-century English village of "Willy Nilly-on-the-Wash," during the reign of Elizabeth I. Historical figures like Sir Walter Raleigh, Sir Francis Drake, Sir John Hawkins and John Dee are depicted in the village, along with fictional characters.The festival features costumed performers on stages and in the streets, jousting, craft shops selling and demonstrating period themed handcrafted goods and artwork, renaissance themed food, and regularly scheduled comedy, music, and acrobatic shows. Featured shows include Theatre in the Ground, Washing Well Wenches, Dirk and Guido: The Swordsmen! and the Kamikaze Fireflies (the vaudeville comedy duo that were featured on America's Got Talent in 2014). Each weekend of the event has a different theme, including Fantasy Weekend and Trick-Or-Treat Weekend.

Wilmington High School is a public high school in Wilmington, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Wilmington City Schools district. Wilmington High School has been rated excellent on the state report card for the past three years. The athletic department has had recent Ohio High School Athletic Association Division 1 individual state champions in Girls' Golf, Boys' Swimming, and Girls' Track. The Boys Basketball team were among the final four teams in the Division 1 OHSAA State basketball tournament in 2016. In 2008, the Wilmingtones show choir—the show choir at Wilmington High School—was featured on The Rachael Ray Show. The group opened for The Fray. Wilmington High School is home of the Wilmington Marching Band, who has received Superior ratings at the OMEA State Finals in the years 1984, 1990, 2000, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2015. The Marching Band marched at the Magic Kingdom on New Year's Day 2014.

The Main Building School, on Sugartree St. in Wilmington, Ohio, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It was deemed a "fine example" of High Victorian Italianate architecture. It was opened in 1869 and was in continuous use as a school until 1979. The building may have since been demolished.

Home to Wilmington College, founded in 1870 by the Society of Friends, the city and the surrounding area include more than one dozen Quaker meeting houses. The city features a weather forecast office of the National Weather Service, which serves all of Southwestern Ohio and portions of Kentucky and Indiana.
