Zundert (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈzʏndərt] ) is a municipality and town in the south of the Netherlands bordering Belgium, in the province of North Brabant. Zundert is the birthplace of post-impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh.

Rijsbergen a town in the municipality of Zundert in the southern Netherlands. In the town used to be an AC (Aanmeldcentrum, i.e. Asylum Request Center). Until 1997 Rijsbergen was an independent municipality, after which it was added to Zundert. The skyline of Rijsbergen is dominated by the neo-Gothic Roman Catholic church of Saint Bavo, which was built in 1918 as a replacement of a smaller fourteenth-century church. The church is situated in the town centre and is flanked by the former town hall, which has been transformed into a museum. Furthermore, in the outskirts of Rijsbergen a successful Garden Centre can be found named: "De Bosrand". A deeply loved place by the locals. The countryside around Rijsbergen is dotted with eleven shrines devoted to the Virgin Mary. They were built after the Second World War as a thanksgiving for surviving the war relatively undamaged.

Heikant is a hamlet in the municipality of Rucphen, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located about 2 km southeast of Sprundel.

Meer is a village in the Belgian municipality of Hoogstraten in the province of Antwerp. As of 2021, it has 3,542 inhabitants.

Loenhout is a village and deelgemeente (sub-municipality) of the municipality of Wuustwezel in the province of Antwerp, Belgium. The village is located near the Dutch border, and about 26 kilometres (16 mi) north-east of the city of Antwerp.

Sprundel is a village in the southern Netherlands, in the Rucphen municipality. In the past it was the main village of the region, with roads to Roosendaal to the west, Breda to the east, Rotterdam to the north and Antwerp to the south. The village was first mentioned in 1282 as "Hermano filio Nekers de Sprundele". The etymology is unknown. Sprundel developed in the Middle Ages on a stream ridge. The village was abandoned in 1583 when Charles de Gontaut, duc de Biron was plundering the area. It was resettled around 1592.The St John the Baptist Church was built in 1922. The 16th century tower from the earlier church was retained. The grist mill De Hoop was built in 1840. By 1960, the wind mill was in a very poor condition. It was bought by the municipality in 1972 and extensively repaired between 1976 and 1977. It is frequently in service.Sprundel was home to 390 people in 1840.

Etten-Leur (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌɛtə(n) ˈløːr] ) is a municipality in the Dutch province North Brabant. Its name is a combination of the two villages from which the municipality originally acrose: Etten and Leur.

Restaurant De Zwaan is a restaurant located in Etten-Leur, in the Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1994–present.Gault Millau awarded the restaurant 16 out of 20 points.Head chef of De Zwaan is Carlo Chantrel. Former head chefs include John Jansen (1991).De Zwaan is a member and one of the founders of Alliance Gastronomique Néerlandaise.The restaurant celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2007. Part of the celebrations were cooking-sessions of other famous head chefs: Jonnie Boer, Ron Blauw, Lucas Rive and Marc van Gulick. The restaurant was started by Ad Peijnenborg, father of present owner Roland Peijnenburg and member of the family who owned ontbijtkoek-firm Koninklijke Peijnenburg. The transition of ownership from father to son was planned for the end of 1991. Due to the unexpected death of his father, the takeover was advanced.In 2009, restaurant De Zwaan (The Swan) started with a bistro in the same building. This bistro was called "Het Lelijke Eendje" (The Ugly Duckling).The building is a Rijksmonument.

Rucphen (pronounced [ˈrʏkfə(n)] ) is a municipality and a town in the southern Netherlands between Roosendaal and Etten-Leur, south of the railway, but without a train-station.

Etten-Leur is a railway station located in Etten-Leur, Netherlands. The station was opened on 11 December 1854 and is located on the Roosendaal–Breda railway. The station is operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen. The station was closed between 25 September 1940 and 30 May 1972.

Lies is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Breda, about 5 km southwest of the city centre.

Sint Willebrord is a town in the municipality of Rucphen in the Netherlands. It is also known by the name 't Heike which was the semi-official name up until 1950/1970 (mostly written as Theike, or less often Heike), which is the diminutive form of hei (heath) in local dialect. This town was formed on the former boundary between the "Baronie of Breda" and "Het Markizaat of Bergen op Zoom". Sint Willebrord is the largest of the five towns in the municipality of Rucphen. During Carnaval the town goes by the name of Heikneutersland Basically meaning ´Hillbillies´ land´ or ´Redneck's land´. The name "Sint Willebrord" comes from Saint Willibrord. Sint is the usual form in Dutch names to represent saints. Cyclist Wim van Est and footballer Rini (Pallack) Konings were famous sports personalities from Sint Willebrord.
