Sulphur Springs Museum and Heritage Center

Sulphur Springs is a neighborhood and district located within the city limits of Tampa, Florida. As of the 2000 census, the neighborhood had a population of 6,308. In the late 19th century the mineral springs were a draw. In the 1940s the area was a major tourist attraction and home to a 40-foot water slide and gator farm. It is home to Sulphur Springs History and Heritage Museum.

Sulphur Springs Water Tower is a landmark of Tampa, Florida. It stands 214 feet (65 m) tall, with a foundation 45 feet (14 m) deep which makes it visible from nearby Interstate 275 and much of the rest of Sulphur Springs. It's located in the historic district of Sulphur Springs.

Captain William Parker Jackson House is a historic residence in the Seminole Heights area of Tampa, Florida. An 1870s farmhouse, it was once owned by prominent Tampa pioneers. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Jackson was born November 11, 1847, to "first Anglo-American family to settle in the Tampa Wilderness."According to the Tampa Bay Times, the house design is known as an I-house: a symmetrical structure popular from Colonial times through the 1800s. The property once included 152 acres along Nebraska Avenue (Tampa) up to the Hillsborough River, according to an 1852 survey plat.Jackson's parents were Tampa pioneers Nancy Coller Jackson (born January 22, 1815, in St Mary's, Florida and died March 24, 1907, in Tampa) and Robert Andrew Jackson Jr. (born on 2 May 1802 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania or New York and died on March 2, 1865, in Tampa), whose 1836 marriage is believed to have been the first recorded marriage on Florida's west coast, according to the Times. The farmland included cattle and orange groves; and Jackson piloted passenger and mail ships from Cedar Key to New Orleans and from Tampa to Cuba. The farmhouse's mantel may have been salvaged from the Hiram Cool, an iron-hulled steamship that ran aground. The house is located at 800 East Lambright Street. It has been toured as part of the Old Seminole Heights annual home tour. The Old Seminole Heights Neighborhood Association assisted with the documentation for the designation.

Old Seminole Heights is a neighborhood within the city limits of Tampa, in the U.S. state of Florida. The neighborhood is one of three which comprise the greater Seminole Heights district within the city. As of the 2010 census the neighborhood had a population of 14,729. The building is one of the contributing structures within the Seminole Heights Residential District, a U.S. National and Local Historic District. Seminole Heights United Methodist Church is located at 6111 Central Avenue, at the southeast corner of the intersection of Central and Hanna Avenues.

Harvey Heights is a neighborhood in the northern area of Tampa, Florida, which represents District 7 of the Tampa City Council. The 2000 census numbers were unavailable; however, the latest estimated population was 285.

Seminole Heights is a historic neighborhood and district located in central Tampa. It includes many early 20th century bungalow homes and historic buildings. It was an early residential area of Tampa connected by streetcar. The area had an economic downturn in the late 20th century marked by increased crime, but has since seen a resurgence with new restaurants, brew pubs and independent businesses opening up. The neighborhood's historic homes, eclectic shops and gourmet restaurants are an increasing draw.As of the 2000 census, the district had a population of 24,567.

The Hampton Terrace Historic District, originally called the Lakewood Manor Subdivision, is a U.S. historic district located in the Old Seminole Heights neighborhood of Tampa, Florida. The district is roughly bounded by Hanna Avenue to the north, 15th Street to the east, Nebraska Avenue to the west, and Hillsborough Avenue to the south. Hampton Terrace Historic District was so designated by its inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places on January 27, 1999. The Hampton Terrace district encompasses 1,150 acres (4.7 km2), and the neighborhood's boundaries are Hanna Ave, 15th St, Hillsborough Ave, and Nebraska, and includes Lake Roberta. The area contains about 470 contributing structures, all of which are private residences. The structures are considered historically significant examples of residential styles like the bungalow, and architectural influences including American Craftsman Style.

Tampa Overlook is a neighborhood in the North Tampa section of Tampa, which represents District 7 of the Tampa City Council. The 2000 census numbers were unavailable; however, the latest estimated population was 1,877 and the population density was 4,904 people per square mile.

ZooTampa at Lowry Park (formerly known as Lowry Park Zoo or Lowry Park Zoological Garden) is a 63-acre (25 ha) nonprofit zoo located in Tampa, Florida. In 2009, Lowry Park Zoo was voted the #1 Family Friendly Zoo in the US by Parents Magazine, and is recognized by the State of Florida as the center for Florida wildlife conservation and biodiversity (HB 457). The zoo is operated by the Lowry Park Zoological Society, an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The zoo also exists as a center for conservation of endangered wildlife both locally and around the globe. Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) as well as a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA), Conservation Breeding Specialist Group (CBSG), the Florida Association of Zoos and Aquariums (FAZA) and the Florida Attractions Association (FAA). ZooTampa traces its origins to a small animal exhibit that was located on the campus of the University of Tampa in downtown beginning in the 1930s. It moved to its current location in the Seminole Heights neighborhood 1957 and become known as the Lowry Park Zoo, with various small rides and other entertainment facilities added in the following years. The animal enclosures were run down and deemed unhealthy by the 1980s, and after several years of fundraising, the zoo was completely redesigned and rebuilt in 1987-1988. Since reopening, several new sections and attractions have been added, often with a geographic theme. In 2018, the zoo was rebranded as "ZooTampa at Lowry Park" as part of another large renovation and expansion project. Nearly 1 million people visit the 65-acre zoo a year to see its more than 1,300 animals.
