The Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich (formerly Waverley School) is a secondary school and sixth form with academy status in the East Dulwich area of the London Borough of Southwark, England. The school converted to academy status in September 2006 and is part of the not-for-profit Harris Federation of South London Schools sponsored by Lord Harris of Peckham.

Nunhead is a suburb in the London Borough of Southwark in London, England. It is an inner-city suburb located 4 miles (6.4 km) southeast of Charing Cross. It is the location of the 52-acre (0.21 km2) Nunhead Cemetery. Nunhead has traditionally been a working-class area and, with the adjacent neighbourhoods, is currently going through a lengthy process of gentrification. Nunhead is the location of several underground reservoirs, built by the Southwark and Vauxhall Waterworks Company.

Nunhead Cemetery is one of the Magnificent Seven cemeteries in London, England. It is perhaps the least famous and celebrated of them. The cemetery is located in Nunhead in the London Borough of Southwark and was originally known as All Saints' Cemetery. Nunhead Cemetery was consecrated in 1840 and opened by the London Cemetery Company. It is a Local Nature Reserve.

The River Peck is a small stream in London that was enclosed in 1823. The stream is uncovered on the west side of Peckham Rye Park.In South Bermondsey it flows into the Earl's Sluice which has its confluence with the Thames at Deptford Wharf. Peckham means "homestead of the Peck".

One Tree Hill is a defining feature of Honor Oak, mostly in London Borough of Southwark but parts also in the London Borough of Lewisham. It includes a 7 hectare public park, local nature reserve and Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation, Grade 1, which is owned and managed by Southwark Council. Its name, and that of the Honor Oak area, derive from the Oak of Honor, a tree on the hill which marked the southern boundary of the Norman Honour of Gloucester.One Tree Hill was once a part of a much larger landscape called the Great North Wood. The London Wildlife Trust is currently working with Southwark Council and the Friends of One Tree Hill to improve the site for wildlife, as a part of its Great North Wood Project.

Honor Oak is an inner suburban area principally of the London Borough of Lewisham, with part in the London Borough of Southwark. It is named after the oak tree on One Tree Hill that Elizabeth I is reputed to have picnicked under.

Homestall Farm consisted of a farm house, barn, and substantial land surrounding it, and was located on the site of what is now Peckham Rye park in southeast London, England. The farm was acquired by the London County Council in 1894 for the sum of £51,000. The buildings were removed in 1908.

Peckham Rye is an open space and road in the London Borough of Southwark in London, England. The roughly triangular open space lies to the south of Peckham town centre. It is managed by Southwark Council and consists of two contiguous areas, with Peckham Rye Common to the north and Peckham Rye Park to the south. The road Peckham Rye forms the western and eastern perimeter of the open space. Peckham Rye is also a ward of the London Borough of Southwark, forming part of the Camberwell and Peckham constituency.

Nunhead railway station is in the Nunhead area of the London Borough of Southwark. It is 5 miles 77 chains (9.6 km) measured from London Victoria. The station is managed by Thameslink. It is in Travelcard Zone 2.

Honor Oak Park railway station serves the suburban area of Honor Oak in the London Borough of Lewisham. It is 4 miles 59 chains (4.74 miles, 7.62 km) down the line from London Bridge, between Brockley and Forest Hill. The station is operated by London Overground, with London Overground and Southern trains serving the station. Thameslink and some Southern services pass through the station. It is located in Travelcard Zone 3.

Honor Oak railway station was a station opened in December 1865 in Honor Oak, London by the London, Chatham and Dover Railway on the Crystal Palace and South London Junction Railway. The line was built to carry passengers to The Crystal Palace after its move from Hyde Park. The station featured two wooden platforms, and apart from two brief closures during World War I and World War II, it remained open until 1954 when the entire branch line was closed. The station was demolished around 1956–7 and afterwards the site has been redeveloped with housing. Honor Oak railway station was about half a mile west of Honor Oak Park railway station which remains open.

The Herne Tavern is a pub at 2 Forest Hill Rd, Honor Oak, London SE22 0RR. It is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.It was built in the mid-19th century, but the interior was remodelled in the interwar period and has remained largely unaltered since.
