Pingtung County Government

Pingtung County Council (traditional Chinese: 屏東縣議會; simplified Chinese: 屏东县议会; pinyin: Píngdōng Xiàn Yìhuì) is the county council of Pingtung County, Republic of China. It is currently composed of 55 councillors, all elected in the 2018 Taiwanese local elections. Being the largest county council in terms of seats, it succeeded the former Pingtung City Senate on 1 October 1950 after reorganization of the local governments.

Global Mall Hsinchu (Chinese: 環球購物中心新竹世博店) was a shopping mall in East District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan that opened on February 21, 2013. The mall is located in close proximity to Hsinchu railway station. The mall closed on June 30, 2016.

National Pingtung University (NPTU; Chinese: 國立屏東大學; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Kok-li̍p Pîn-tong Tāi-ha̍k) is a public university in Pingtung City, Pingtung County, Taiwan. NPU offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across 5 colleges: Agriculture, Life Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Social Sciences, and Humanities and Management. Some of the popular programs include Agriculture, Food Science, Environmental Biology and Fisheries, and Tropical Medicine.

The Pingtung Performing Arts Center (traditional Chinese: 屏東演藝廳; simplified Chinese: 屏东演艺厅; pinyin: Píngdōng Yǎnyìtīng) is a performance center in Pingtung City, Pingtung County, Taiwan. The performing arts center is Southern Taiwan’s first county/city-level concert hall with a pipe organ. Built by the Alexander Schuke Potsdam Orgelbau company in 2013, the bamboo organ has 3 manuals, 45 stops and 2,793 pipes.
