Monopoli railway station

Stadio Vito Simone Veneziani is a multi-use stadium in Monopoli, Italy. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Monopoli. The stadium holds 6,880 attendance.

It is dedicated to the Virgin Mary under the title of the Madonna della Madia, after an icon kept here. Formerly the episcopal seat of the Diocese of Monopoli, it has been since 1986 a co-cathedral in the Diocese of Conversano-Monopoli. The cathedral was granted the status of a minor basilica in 1921.
