Elfed High School (Welsh: Ysgol Uwchradd Elfed) is an 11–16 mixed, English-medium community secondary school in Buckley, Flintshire, Wales.

Alyn and Deeside (Welsh: Alun a Glannau Dyfrdwy) was one of six local government districts in the county of Clwyd, north-east Wales from 1974 to 1996. There is still a parliamentary constituency of the same name.

Buckley Claypits and Commons is a Site of Special Scientific Interest in the preserved county of Clwyd, north Wales. It is an important reserve for the great crested newt.

St Matthew's Church, is in the town of Buckley, Flintshire, Wales. It is an active Anglican parish church in the Borderlands Mission Area, the archdeaconry of Wrexham and the diocese of St Asaph. The church is a Grade II* listed building.

Alltami is a small village in Flintshire, in northeast Wales northwest of Buckley and northeast of Mold. It lies on the A494 road which runs from Ellesmere Port to Dolgellau. There is a stream running through the village, Alltami Brook. There is a crossroads at Alltami with traffic lights; they were proposed to be installed in February 1981.

Etna Park is a park near the town of Buckley.The area was a clay hole during the Industrial Revolution, and was later used as a landfill. The site has now been reclaimed, and has areas of wildflower meadow and woodland, and provides views across Cheshire, the Wirral and Merseyside.

Buckley Town Football Club (Welsh: Clwb Pêl-Droed Tref Bwcle) is a Welsh football team based in Buckley, Flintshire, Wales. They currently play in the Cymru North, the second tier of Welsh football.

Padeswood & Buckley railway station was a station in Padeswood, Flintshire, Wales. The station was opened around October 1850 and closed on 6 January 1958. Only the stationmaster's house remains as a private residence.

Argoed (Welsh for 'wooded area' / 'in the wood') is a community in Flintshire, Wales, located between the towns of Mold and Buckley. The largest settlement in the community is Mynydd Isa, with New Brighton and Mynydd bychan to the north and Llong on the southern border of the community. The population was recorded to be 874, increasing at the 2011 census following reorganisation to 5837, although slightly decreasing to 5627 in 2021.Number of houses in Argoed (2001): 179 increasing to 2,405 in 2011.

Maes y Grug is a Site of Special Scientific Interest at Alltami in the preserved county of Clwyd, north Wales. The site was a former colliery and consists of a large pond surrounded by deciduous woodland along with smaller ponds, marshland and grassland surrounded by farmland used for grazing. The site has SSSI status due mainly to the presence of the Great Crested Newt and is a Special area of Conservation (SAC). Access to the site is by footpath from the car park.North East Wales Wildlife and Flintshire County Council own the site.

The River Terrig (Welsh: Afon Terrig) is a small river in north-east Wales. The river rises at Llyn Cyfynwy near Graianrhyd village in the community of Llanarmon-yn-Ial, Denbighshire, about three miles from the source of the River Alyn. It then flows northwards and eastwards, forming the boundary between the old parishes of Nercwys and Treuddyn. At Nant-y-Mynydd it is joined by several small springs from Mynydd Ddu, and finally itself joins the River Alyn at Pontblyddyn, Flintshire.The Terrig is a habitat for brown trout. Its name is derived from its rapid flow after times of heavy rain; Thomas Pennant, in his Tours in Wales, described it as "the Terrig, or the violent, [...] often of a tremendous swell and fury".

Llong railway station was a station in Llong, Flintshire, Wales. The station was opened on 14 August 1849 and closed on 30 April 1962. The station building is now a private residence.In 1947 there were 8 trains a day each way.
