Campo Formio (French pronunciation: ​[kɑ̃po fɔʁmjo]) is a station of the Paris Métro, serving line 5 located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris.

The Cité florale (English: floral city} is a residential area located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, France. It forms a triangular area with individual houses. Each of the houses within the neighbourhood has its own flower garden, the streets are paved and are named after flowers. The appearance of this area is unusual because it is surrounded by buildings much more modern.

The 13th arrondissement of Paris (XIIIe arrondissement) is one of the 20 arrondissements of the capital city of France. In spoken French, this arrondissement is referred to as treizième. The arrondissement, called Gobelins, is situated on the left bank of the River Seine. It is home to Paris's principal Asian community, the Quartier Asiatique, located in the southeast of the arrondissement in an area that contains many high-rise apartment buildings. The neighborhood features a high concentration of Chinese and Vietnamese businesses. The current mayor is Jérôme Coumet (Socialist), who was re-elected by the arrondissement council on 29 March 2008 after the list which he headed gained 70% of the votes cast in the second round of the 2008 French municipal elections, and was again re-elected on 13 April 2014 and in 2020. The 13th arrondissement is also home to the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand and the newly built business district of Paris Rive Gauche.

The École nationale de chimie physique et biologie de Paris (ENCPB), renamed in 2009 "lycée Pierre-Gilles-de-Gennes - ENCPB" after physician Pierre-Gilles de Gennes died in 2007, is a public secondary and higher school specialising in technical and scientific subjects and preparatory classes to the grandes écoles (CPGE). It is located at 11 rue Pirandello in the 13th arrondissement of Paris.

The Place d'Italie (French pronunciation: ​[plas d‿itali]; English: Italy Square) is a public space in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. The square has an average dimension somewhat less than 200 meters in extent (comprising about 30,000 m²), and the following streets meet there: Boulevard Vincent-Auriol Boulevard de l'Hôpital Boulevard Auguste-Blanqui Avenue des Gobelins Avenue de la Sœur-Rosalie Avenue d'Italie Avenue de Choisy Rue Bobillot Rue Godefroy The town hall (mairie) for the 13th arrondissement is on the Place d'Italie.

Place d'Italie (French pronunciation: ​[plas ditali], literally "Italy Square") is a rapid transit station of the Paris Métro located in the heart of the 13th arrondissement of Paris, at the Place d'Italie. It is the southern terminus of Line 5 and is also served by Line 6 and Line 7.

The Place Pinel (English: Pinel Square) is a square and street in the 13th arrondissement of Paris.

Italie 2 is the name of a large shopping centre in Paris' south east in the 13th arrondissement. It features a Printemps, fnac and over 130 stores, most of which are based overseas. The centre is situated over 3 levels with one level being subterranean (bas), one at ground level (rdc) and one above ground level (haut). The shopping centre is the largest within the perimeter of boulevard périphérique, Paris' ring road that typically confines Paris itself and is an unofficial boundary. This is mainly because the only other places with a department store in Paris are not situated within a shopping centre with the exception of Galeries Lafayette Montparnasse which is situated in a small shopping centre of about 10 stores at the base of Tour Montparnasse. The centre is situated on Place d'Italie and is above Place d'Italie metro station.

Saint-Marcel (French pronunciation: ​[sɛ̃ maʁsɛl]) is a station of the Paris Métro, serving line 5 located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris.

Gobelins, l'école de l'image is a school of visual communication and arts in Paris, with its main location near the Latin Quarter. A consular school funded by the Parisian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it provides several programs at a range of fees. It is best known for the Cinéma Department of Animation, founded in 1975 by Pierre Ayma, who brought the school into the spotlight. It has an international reputation, producing numerous talented individuals and teams hired by the world's leading animation studios, including Disney, Universal, Hanna Barbera, Pixar, DreamWorks and Warner Bros. Its former students include many strip cartoonists and animation artists such as Didier Cassegrain, Cromwell, Jean-François Miniac, and Pierre Coffin. The faculty includes world-class industry leaders such as Michel Bouvet. Over the years, Gobelins has introduced major innovations in multimedia content, developing products for the web, CD ROM, Interactive DVD, and public installations. The video department, created by Daniel Boullay and Guy Chevalier for the training of adult students, has since 1985 been prominent in the French technical audio-visual landscape. Led by Daniel Desmoulins, the video department allows professionals to create or analyze techniques, keeping current with the rapid evolution of industry technologies. Gobelins also offers instruction in photography and graphic design.

The boulevard de l'Hôpital is a tree-lined boulevard of the 13th arrondissement of Paris, which also briefly borders on the 5th arrondissement. It runs a distance of 1,395 meters, from the Place Valhubert at the pont d'Austerlitz, by the gare d'Austerlitz, rising in a gentle slope towards its end at the place d'Italie - the town hall of the arrondissement being located at their intersection. Along the way, it serves the Jardin des Plantes and the Hôpital de la Pitié-Salpêtrière from which it derives its name. In front of the hospital stands a statue of doctor Philippe Pinel. The boulevard is an important traffic axis. Bordered by public and teaching establishments such as the general police station of the arrondissement, it has relatively little commercial and leisure activity excepting the shops and restaurants close to the gare d'Austerlitz. The boulevard is also home to the Arts et Métiers ParisTech main campus. This engineering graduate school built its facilities in 1910, at this time it was called ENSAM. Nowadays, more than 950 graduate students are attending courses in fields such as industrial or mechanical engineering. The métro Line 5 runs through the Austerlitz viaduct, along the boulevard which has four stations: Gare d'Austerlitz (at its northmost end) Saint-Marcel (opposite Hôpital de la Pitié-Salpêtrière) Campo Formio Place d'Italie (at its southmost end)
