Wadala is one of the ten constituencies of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly located in the Mumbai City district. It is a part of the Mumbai South Central (Lok Sabha constituency) along with five other assembly constituencies, viz Dharavi, Sion Koliwada, Mahim, from Mumbai City district and Chembur and Anushakti Nagar from Mumbai Suburban district.

C.G.S. colony (Antop Hill, Mumbai) is Asia's largest housing colony to provide housing to employees and staff of any central government body/organisation. C.G.S. is derived from Central Government Employees Society - the "E" is not used usually because saying "CGS" is much easier and faster than saying "CGES", but C.G.E.S. is the official short-form. The colony is located approximately mid-way of the King's Circle and Koliwada or Guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar railway stations. Walking time between C.G.S. and both stations is an average of 20 minutes. C.G.S. colony consists of seven sectors, I through VII and the buildings are graded according to the number of rooms each apartment (or flat) of the building contains. In C.G.S Colony Sector 7 is larger than the other Sectors. There is also a Kendriya Vidyalaya school in Sector 1 for the employees and staff of any central government body/organisation And there is also a ground for playing which is in Sector-6 Called Cement Ground. The allocation of the apartment type to an individual is based on his/her ranking within the central government body/organisation. Lately, many of the buildings in the colony have been marked as unsafe and the task of rebuilding them is under way. following are the sectors and there main spots :- Sec -1 : 1 hospital, grih kalyan kendra- school for nursery Jr.kg and Sr.kg kids and the same building consists of waiting houses i.e. a newly transferred person can stay there until his house is allotted . post office - which has been shut from years now. Garden - there is a very beautiful garden for jogging, playing etc. and government apartments. Sec-2 : Shiv mandir and government apartments. Sec -3 : Sai mandir, hanuman madir, Nav chetna and other government apartments. Sec-4: Balwadi nursery school and government apartments. Sec-5 : Nav jevan(same building different location aka twin of nav chetna) and other government apartment. And many restaurants and gurud waras. Sec-6: Antophill police station, cement ground, garden, many general and vegetable shops/ hawkers. Govt. apartments. Sec-7 : It literally has everything you need for living. Starting from fruits, vegetable meat and other grocery shops, having street foods, military canteen, Sanjeevani hospital, another but bigger grih kalyan kendra. It also has different and many colonies in it. Have many gardens and ground and many Govt. apartments and covers huge area. Apart from these sectors there are many other things just next to antophill like ATM, salon, barber shop, bakery, domino's sweet shops an endless list + metro stop just in front of sec-1. Many bus stops throughout the antophill and nearby. Many studios and classes. Many temples and gurud waras and a church and a masjid. and it is closest to gandhi market which has everything which you can ever ask for from low brand cloths to showroom and from street food to restaurants........ this is antophill.

Dadar East is a monorail station of the Mumbai Monorail located beside the famous Pratipandharpur Vitthal Temple on GD Ambedkar Marg in the Dadar Parsi Colony suburb of Mumbai, India.There is demand for Renaming Dadar (East) monorail station into Vitthal Mandir monorail station because of Vitthal Mandir is nearby at this monorail station so it would preferable for tourists.

Dadar Parsi Colony (officially Mancherji Joshi Parsi Colony) is an upper class Parsi colony in midtown South Mumbai. It is situated in the locality of Dadar-Matunga. Unlike the other Parsi colonies (also known as 'baugs', literally gardens) it is not surrounded by a wall or fence and is not isolated from its surroundings. The colony houses the famous Five Gardens created by Mancherji Joshi, a renowned Parsi. It is the largest Zoroastrian enclave in the world and in 2009, out of the 45,000 Zoroastrians living in Mumbai, 10,000 lived in Dadar Parsi Colony.

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) (Marathi : वीरमाता जिजाबाई टेक्नॉलोजिकल इन्स्टिट्यूट) is a state funded college located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and one of the oldest engineering colleges in Asia. Founded in 1887 and formerly known as the Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute, it adopted its present name on 26 January 1997. VJTI is an academically and administratively autonomous institute, but it is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The institute is financially supported by the Government of Maharashtra. After being awarded academic and administrative autonomy in 2004, VJTI became operational under the administration of a board of governors. VJTI is also the Central Technical Institute of Maharashtra State. The institute trains students in engineering and technology at the certificate, diploma, degree, post-graduate and doctoral levels.

Sewri (IAST: Śivdī, [ʃiʋɖiː]) is a locality along the eastern edge of South Mumbai, in Maharashtra, India. It is also the name of a railway station on the Central Railway Harbour Line. Sewri (pronounced as Shivdi / शिवडी) was a small hamlet on the eastern shore of the Parel island, one of the original seven islands of Bombay. Sewri has a fort that dates back to 1770. The Agri-Horticultural Society had established gardens at Sewri, which were acquired in 1865 by Arthur Crawford, then the Municipal Commissioner of Bombay, for building a European cemetery. Large parts of Sewri belong to the Bombay Port Trust and were incorporated into the harbour facilities. In 1996, the mangrove swamps of Sewri were declared a protected ecology. Lesser flamingos from other parts of India come to these mangroves to breed. The coastal area of locality includes the Sewri mudflats, a wetland. The flamingos arrive at the mudflats from the months of October to March every year. These mudflats are near the Sewri jetty, which is a 20-minute walk from the railway station. The Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road (RAK marg) which consist of four adjacent roads begins at Sewri and ends at Maheshwari Udyan (Matunga) near King's Circle station. Fatima High School can be found at the beginning of the RAK road. The Sewri Christian Cemetery, the largest of its kind within city limits, is located here. Sewri East houses a number of industrial units especially those of Petrochemical industries. Sewri West is largely residential, consisting of housing societies like Sewri koliwada, BDD Chawls, Mulraj Bhuvan. The Mulraj Bhuvan Group (MBG) is also a very famous club in this area known for its sporting and social activities. built by British in year 1925, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Shivaji Nagar, Gulmohar Society, Labour Camp and Bhatwadi. The market area is called "Sewri Naka". Opening up of mill lands and the Mumbai Port Trust lands for development has resulted in a lot of construction activity in this area. The (Sewri-Nhava Sheva transharbour link), which is being planned by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), threatens the habitat of the migratory flamingos.

Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) is a state-funded deemed university in Mumbai, India. The institute also has campuses at Bhubaneswar, Odisha and Jalna, Marathwada. It is focused on training and research in fields of chemical engineering, chemical technology, and pharmacy. It was established in 1933 and was granted deemed university status in 2008, making it the only state-funded deemed university in India. On 12 February 2018 it was given status of Category 1 institute with graded autonomy by MHRD and UGC. It is also an institute with a special status as mentioned in SECTION IV of the Report of the Empowered Expert Committee in 2018.
