Leon Springs is an unincorporated community in Bexar County, Texas, United States, now partially within the city limits of San Antonio. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 137 in 2000. It is located within the San Antonio Metropolitan Area.

Aue Stagecoach Inn is a complex of three structures built by German immigrant Max Aue and is located on Boerne Stage Rd. and I-10, in Leon Springs, county of Bexar, in the U.S. state of Texas. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, and is an example of 19th century vernacular architecture of Texas.

Camp Stanley is a U.S. Army facility located at the Leon Springs Military Reservation, the present day Camp Bullis, twenty miles northwest of downtown San Antonio near Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas. It operates the "Camp Stanley Storage Activity" (CSSA) as an ammunitions depot subpost of the San Antonio Arsenal. It is not to be confused with the U.S. Army's Camp Stanley located in South Korea.

It is the flagship school, and sole secondary school, of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. TMI is the oldest Episcopal college preparatory school in the American Southwest. Founded as West Texas School for Boys, the school was later known as West Texas Military Academy, and popularly nicknamed 'West Point on the Rio Grande', though it is several hours from the Rio Grande itself.

Scenic Oaks is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bexar County, Texas, United States. It is part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 10,458 at the 2010 census, up from 4,957 at the 2010 census.

Primarily Primates (PPI) is a non-profit organization in Bexar County, Texas, that operates an animal sanctuary, housing 347 non-human primates and a variety of other birds and animals released from use in entertainment, research, or as rescues from the exotic pet trade. The organization was founded by Wallace (Wally) Swett in 1978, who ran the facility until 2006, when the Texas attorney general took control of it after allegations that were dismissed that the facility was an unfit place for animals. It has since been passed to new management, and operates in 2018, with a $1.1 million dollar budget. Primarily Primates employs 16 people for management and care staff, and a full-time veterinarian to assure high standards, excellent animal care and rescue, enrichment, and nutrition.
