Dolgerdd

Talgarreg is a small village in the community of Llandysiliogogo, in the county of Ceredigion, Wales. The village is located on a junction of the B4459, approximately half way between New Quay and Llandysul. Talgarreg lies in the ecclesiastical parish of Llanarth. The Clettwr River flows through the village on its way to join the River Teifi about 7 miles to the south. Talgarreg is still a Welsh-speaking village, with the majority speaking the language. Talgarreg is the home of a number of small businesses and farms, mainly sheep and dairy. It also has a pub, Glan-yr-Afon Arms, situated at the heart of the village. The village is represented in Senedd Cymru (Welsh Parliament) by Elin Jones (Plaid Cymru) and in the UK Parliament by Ben Lake (Plaid Cymru).

Rhos Llawr Cwrt National Nature Reserve nestles in the base of the Clettwr valley, some 10 kilometres from the Ceredigion coast, between Ffostrasol and Talgarreg. Glaciers have scraped and shaped this landscape and evidence of the last Ice Age can be seen everywhere. The most striking of these are the remains of the pingos found on the reserve, landforms which were once small hills but whose summits collapsed when the ice which formed them melted. The site carries international importance because it holds one of the best populations of the marsh fritillary butterfly in Wales. At peak times, thousands of butterflies can be seen flying around parts of the site.

Pontsiân is a village in the county of Ceredigion, Wales. It lies on the banks of the river Cletwr, a minor tributary to the Afon Teifi. Located in a rural area, the main industry is agriculture. The village itself has a popular primary school, along with a village shop (branded as 'PREMIER') and a village hall.

Rhydowen is a small village in Ceredigion in south-west Wales. It has a population of about 347, of which around 200 are Welsh-speaking. The village hall, established in 1917, has been recently demolished, despite local protest. The hall, declared derelict in 1973 after falling into disrepair due to lack of use, or indeed maintenance, had undergone several attempts at restoration; but any future efforts were deemed too costly.

Mydroilyn is a village in the parish of Llanarth, Ceredigion, Wales, situated along the B4342 road. The name of the village is derived from the confluence of the Mydr and the Oilyn; two streams in the village. Of particular note, is the 200-year-old farmhouse Aelybryn, which once belonged to a Welsh landowner, the Anglican Holy Trinity Church, the Mydroilyn Independent Chapel, dated to 1898 by David Davies, the Y Ficar Wesleyan Chapel, dated to 1849, and the small 19th century corn-mill named Y Felin.
