St Gwenog's Church is a Church in Wales church near Llanybydder, Ceredigion, Wales. It is a medieval building dating back to the late fourteenth century and is situated in the hamlet of Llanwenog on a minor road off the A475 near Drefach, Ceredigion. It is a Grade I-listed building. This is a medieval church, and the only one dedicated to Saint Gwenog. It dates to the late fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, with the fine tower being added some time after 1485. It bears a plaque with the arms of Rhys ap Thomas, Lord of Dinefwr and Carew. The interior has the original fifteenth-century barrel roof. The pews and other church furnishings are elaborately carved. Some of the work was done by and to the design of Colonel Herbert Davies-Evans of Highmead at the beginning of the nineteenth century, and others by the celebrated Belgian wood-carver, Joseph Reubens of Bruges during the period 1914 to 1919.The church was granted Grade I-listed status on 6 March 1964, for being "the most complete medieval church in Cardiganshire, with fine late C15 roof and tower".

Llanybydder (Welsh pronunciation: [ˌɬanəˈbəðɛr], sometimes formerly spelt Llanybyther) is a market town and community straddling the River Teifi in Carmarthenshire, West Wales. At the 2011 Census, the population of the community was 1638, an increase from 1423 at the 2001 Census. Llanybydder is situated around 5 miles (8 km) southwest of Lampeter where the University of Wales Trinity Saint David is located. The Mynydd Llanllwni (383m), Mynydd Llanybydder (408m) and Mynydd Pencarreg (415m) mountains are located to the south and east of Llanybydder.

Gorsgoch () is a small rural village located on the B4338 road near Lampeter in the county of Ceredigion, Wales. The town of Lampeter is 7 miles away and the town of New Quay is 15 miles away "Cors" (mutated to Gors) is Welsh for "marsh" or "bog", and "goch" is the mutated form of "coch" meaning "red": so the name literally translated means "Red Bog". This upland bog is located alongside the main road that leads through the village. The village is developing at a fast rate. New houses are being constructed and there are planning applications for more. Gorsgoch has a pub, Cefn-Hafod. The garages have been closed along with the school years ago. There is also a village hall that has been closed a few years; however, it is being refurbished. The village is served by the 617 bus, from Lampeter to Rhydowen, via Llanybydder, Gorsgoch, and Talgarreg which runs once every Tuesday.
