Oliver House (Wakefield, Massachusetts)

The House at 52 Oak Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts is one of the most elaborate Colonial Revival houses in the Greenwood section of town. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built in the 1890s. It has significant Queen Anne styling, including a turret and wraparound porch, but porch details such as the multiple columns on paneled piers are Colonial Revival in style, as are the hip-roof dormers. The house was built by Henry Savage, a developer with ultimately unsuccessful plans to develop the Greenwood area residentially in the 1880s.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The shingle-clad wood-frame house rests on a high fieldstone foundation, is 2 stories at its rear and 1-1/2 in front, and has the appearance of a square house with four square sections projecting diagonally from each of its corners. The house has a Craftsman/Bungalow-style hip-roofed dormer with diamond-paned windows, and its main entrance is oriented diagonally toward the corner, under a porch supported by round columns.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Greenwood station is an MBTA Commuter Rail station on the Haverhill Line located in the Greenwood neighborhood of Wakefield, Massachusetts. The station consists of two side platforms serving the line's two tracks. The low-level platforms are not accessible. The ticket office in the station building closed on February 22, 1952. By 1962, the former station building was relocated to the Pleasure Island amusement park for use on an antique railroad. The façade of the Lomita Railroad Museum, located 2,608 miles (4,197 km) away in Lomita, California, is a replica of the original Greenwood station.

The US Post Office-Woburn Center Station is a historic post office building at 1 Abbott Street in Woburn, Massachusetts. The single story Classical Revival building was built out of sandstone in 1911. It is nine bays in width, with a central portico supported by Doric columns sheltering the main entrance. The building has a standing seam metal hip roof with a flat middle section. It is traditionally Georgian in character, although its front door surround was added during Greek Revival period of the mid 19th century. One of the house's 19th century occupants was Paul Hart Sweetser, one of the founders of the Massachusetts Teachers Association and a locally active politician.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The 2+1⁄2-story house was built c. 1875, and features Stick-style bracing elements in its roof gables, hooded windows, with bracketing along those hoods and along the porch eave. Sawtooth edging to sections of board-and-batten siding give interest to the base of the gables, and on a projecting window bay. The house has an L shape, with a porch that wraps around the front and right side, into the crook of the L. The windows are topped by shed-roofed hoods with cut shingles, and there are bands of decorative shingle work filling the north side gables.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
