Dalton is a town in Coös County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 933 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Berlin, NH–VT Micropolitan Statistical Area.

The Mount Orne Bridge is a covered bridge over the Connecticut River between Lancaster, New Hampshire, and Lunenburg, Vermont. It joins Elm Street (New Hampshire Route 135) in South Lancaster with River Road (Town Highway 1) in Lunenburg. Built in 1911, it is one of two Howe truss bridges across the Connecticut River. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa is a member of Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.It reportedly grew from a farm, which added a guest house. In reference to that, the current resort includes a farm with chicken, sheep, goats, and Scottish Highland cattle.It claims to have the oldest operating elevator in the state of New Hampshire.

WMTK (106.3 MHz 106.3 The Notch) is a classic rock formatted station located in northern New Hampshire. It is licensed to Littleton, and is owned by the Vermont Broadcast Associates, Inc., along with WSTJ, WKXH, and WGMT. Programming is also simulcast on 1490/103.1 WIKE in Newport, Vermont. The Weeks Estate is a historic country estate on U.S. Route 3 in Lancaster, New Hampshire. Built in 1912 for John Wingate Weeks, atop Prospect Mountain overlooking the Connecticut River, it is one of the state's best preserved early 20th-century country estates. It was given to the state by Weeks' children, and is now Weeks State Park. It features hiking trails, expansive views of the countryside from the stone observation tower, and a small museum in the main estate house. A small portion of property at the mountain summit was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, while the park as a whole was listed in 2023.

The Civil Air Patrol maintains a composite squadron at this location. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a local general aviation facility.The airport has a single, newly re-paved runway that is 4,001 feet (1,220 m) long, 75 feet (23 m) wide, at an average altitude of 1,074 feet (327 m) MSL, beneath the Yankee One Military Operations Area (MOA). It features pilot-controlled lighting. Traffic pattern altitude is 2,000 feet (610 m) MSL, and pilots must make right traffic for runway 28 unless winds require use of Runway 10 during landing. Scheduled runway improvements have been completed and accepted which include re-alignment and resurfacing of a lengthened runway from 3,495 to 4,100 feet (1,065 to 1,250 m). Local attractions include: Mountain View Grand Hotel 2 miles (3.2 km), Mount Washington Hotel 15 miles (24 km) (including Bretton Woods Mountain Resort), Mount Washington Cog Railway, Santa's Village (9 miles (14 km)) and Six Gun City (8 miles (13 km)) theme parks (Jefferson). Other local towns include Franconia (and its Cannon Mountain Ski Area) (18 miles (29 km)), Littleton (14 miles (23 km)), Bethlehem (11 miles (18 km)) and Lancaster (10 miles (16 km)), where the Coos County Fair is held each summer. A regional view can be enjoyed from the lookout tower at historic Weeks State Park, located on Mount Prospect in Lancaster.
