Attaquin Beach is a beach at Mashpee and Wakeby Ponds in Mashpee, Massachusetts.

The Lowell Holly Reservation is a 135-acre (0.55 km2) nature reserve in Mashpee and Sandwich, Massachusetts and is managed by the Trustees of Reservations. The area was extensively planted by A. Lawrence Lowell and Wilfred Wheeler with rhododendrons, mountain laurel and holly trees, for which the reservation gets its name. There are 4 miles (6.4 km) of hiking trails and two peninsular knolls that jut into Mashpee Pond and Wakeby Pond. Lowell bequeathed the property to the Trustees of Reservations in 1943.

Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Museum is a cultural center in the town of Mashpee in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States. The town of Mashpee is the location of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, one of the two federally recognized representative bodies of the Wampanoag people. The museum ground itself is well known for the Avant House as well as hosting the Mill Pond Herring Ladder, a Fish ladder on the Mashpee River. Establishing the museum was a passion project of Amelia Peters Bingham. The idea for the museum first came in 1970, but the building was only transferred to the Wampanoag Tribal Council after a unanimous vote to do so during the Mashpee town government's annual meeting in 1997. Since 1999 the site has been listed under the National Register of Historic Places.

The Avant House, also known as the Timothy Pocknet Homestead is an historic house on Massachusetts Route 130 at Mill Pond in Mashpee, Massachusetts. Built in the late 18th or early 19th century, it is one of the town's oldest surviving buildings. It is now owned and operated by the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe as the Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Museum. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Mashpee ( Wampanoag: Mâseepee) is a town in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States, on Cape Cod. The population was 15,060 as of 2020. The Forestdale School, also known as the Greenville School, is a historic one-room school building at 87 Falmouth-Sandwich Road (Massachusetts Route 130) in Sandwich, Massachusetts. The single story wood-frame structure was built in 1878, and is one of a small number of surviving district school buildings on Cape Cod. It has Greek Revival features, including gable end returns, and transom windows over the two entrances. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Forestdale is a village and census-designated place (CDP) within the town of Sandwich in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States. The population of Forestdale was 4,099 at the 2010 census. It is the most populous of the three CDPs in Sandwich. The ZIP code of Forestdale is 02644.

Spectacle Pond is a 91-acre (370,000 m2) kettle pond in Sandwich, Massachusetts. It has a small, forested island called Pinkham Island accessible by wading from its west shoreline. The pond has been stocked for years by MassWildlife. As of 2018 it is being stocked spring and fall with trout. Access is provided by a town landing which consists of a rutted unimproved gravel ramp on the southwestern end of the pond, suitable for launching small boats and canoes. To reach the site take Quaker Meetinghouse Road to a right onto Pinkham Road. The access is at the end of a dirt road on the left (the first left after the entrance to Camp Hayward). Spectacle Pond was sampled most recently on September 12, 1994, and seven species were collected: yellow perch, smallmouth bass, banded killifish, pumpkinseed sunfish, largemouth bass, brook trout and brown bullhead. In addition to brook trout, it is also stocked with rainbow trout and brown trout.

Otis Air National Guard Base (IATA: FMH, ICAO: KFMH, FAA LID: FMH) is an Air National Guard installation located within Joint Base Cape Cod, a military training facility located on the western portion of Cape Cod in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States. It was known as Otis Air Force Base prior to its transfer from the active duty Air Force to the Air National Guard. In the local community, it is more commonly known as Otis Air Base or simply Otis. It was named in honor of pilot and Boston surgeon Lt. Frank "Jesse" Otis. Today major units include the Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod, Coast Guard Base Cape Cod and the 102nd Intelligence Wing. Other units include the wing's 101st Air Operations Squadron, the 253d Cyberspace Engineering Installation Group, the 212th Engineering Installation Squadron, the 267th Combat Communications Squadron, the 202nd Weather Flight, the 3rd Battalion, 126th Aviation Regiment, part of the 29th Infantry Division (Army National Guard), and the Coastal Patrol Squadron 18, Cape Cod Composite Squadron 044-Massachusetts Wing (Civil Air Patrol).

United States Coast Guard Base Cape Cod is a United States Coast Guard base located in Sandwich, Massachusetts. It was founded in August 2014 as the single point for Deputy Commandant for Mission Support for the United States Coast Guard First District.
