Stewkley

Warren Farm, Stewkley is a 1.5-hectare (3.7-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Stewkley in Buckinghamshire. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This site was first described in the early nineteenth century. It is the most northern exposure of the Jurassic Portlandian basin, and is important for palaeographic reconstruction. It is described by Natural England as "vital to our understanding of the late Jurassic environments, stratigraphy and palaeogeography.There is no public access to the site, but it can be viewed from a footpath through Warren Farm.

Littlecote, in the English county of Buckinghamshire, also known as Lidcote, was a village about eight miles north of Aylesbury. A settlement with ten households was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086. In the late 15th century, the landowner, Thomas Pigott, started to enclose land for sheep grazing, which was for him a profitable use of the land. By 1507, enclosure had been completed and the village had been depopulated and destroyed.The present settlement consists of a farm and a dispersed hamlet, in Stewkley parish.

Poker's Pond Meadow is a 1.9-hectare (4.7-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Stoke Hammond in Buckinghamshire.The site is one of the few small areas of ancient hay meadow in the Vale of Aylesbury. It has been traditionally managed, with a hay cut followed by cattle grazing, and no use of herbicides or fertilisers. One area has the remains of medieval ridge and furrow ploughing. There is a marshy area where there was formerly a pond, but most of the field is dry grassland, with an unusually wide variety of plants, and over 100 species of grasses, sedges, herbs and rushes have been recorded. The main grasses are sweet vernal grass and Yorkshire fog.It is private land with no public access.

Dunton is a village and civil parish in the Aylesbury Vale district of Buckinghamshire, England. The village is situated approximately 8 miles (13 km) north from Aylesbury and 4 miles (6.4 km) south-east from Winslow. In 2011, Dunton had a population (including Hoggeston) of 189. The parish contains the Grade II* listed Church of St Martin and six other buildings that are Grade II listed.

Today the hamlet of Burcott has been almost swallowed up by the growth of Wing, though it is still marked on modern maps, and on the road sign as you enter Wing from the Soulbury road. It is distinguishable by those who know the village well, as being that part of Wing that is on the hill on the north side of the village, separated by an allotment. Most of the houses in Burcott stand on the "High Street", which is a crescent shaped road that joins Soulbury Road at each end. Ivy Lane and Mount Pleasant Road both branch off the High Street.

Its masonry was largely built in the 8th to 11th centuries during the Anglo-Saxon period, making it one of the oldest surviving churches in England.Wing is located 5 km southwest of Leighton Buzzard and 12 km northeast of Aylesbury. The church itself is located on the outskirts west of the town centre. The church was the location of a music video of Libera.
