The World Erotic Art Museum, located in the heart of the Miami Beach, Florida Art Deco District, is a museum, library, and education think tank that uses its collection to illustrate the history of erotic art. It contains the collection of Naomi Wilzig.

The Miami Beach Police Department is the police department of the U.S. city of Miami Beach, Florida, patrolling the entire Miami Beach area, although they sometimes cooperate with the county-wide Miami-Dade Police Department. The Miami Beach Police are famous for their bicycle patrols, which wear dark blue shorts and white short-sleeve uniform tops. The bicycle patrols were created due to the frequent traffic congestion of the Miami Beach isles (particularly in the famous Ocean Drive area on South Beach). Bicycle patrols go where patrol vehicles cannot, but they also perform traffic duties. There are even some patrol officers on roller skates. The Miami Beach Police wear dark blue trousers with dark blue shirts, and have red, white, and blue patrol vehicles however, the department is in the process of switching over to black and white patrol vehicles by the end of 2008. The current Chief of the Department is Chief Richard Clements.

The Miami Beach Architectural District (also known as Old Miami Beach Historic District and the more popular term Miami Art Deco District) is a U.S. historic district (designated as such on May 14, 1979) located in the South Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach, Florida. The area is well known as the district where Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace lived and was assassinated by Andrew Cunanan, in a mansion on Ocean Drive. It is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the east, Sixth Street to the south, Alton Road to the west and the Collins Canal and Dade Boulevard to the north. It contains 960 historic buildings.

The Tides is a building in Miami Beach. As a 49-meter building in 1936, it was the tallest in the city and one of the tallest in the state of Florida. The building was renovated in 1997, and is currently a residential condominium. and luxury hotel. It was previously operated by the Chris Blackwell resort group Island Outpost. Since being operated by Island Outpost, it has had multiple owners and is currently the King & Grove Tides South Beach The picture here is not the Tides Hotel. It is the nearby Netherlands Condominium.

The Cameo Theater was built in 1936 and is located at 1445 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida. The theater has a long history and was a major venue for punk and hardcore acts beginning in 1985, when Richard Shelter struck a deal with owner Zori Hayon to book shows there. The first show was held in July 1985 and featured Canadian punk band D.O.A.In an interview with Roger Deering, Kristy O'Brien describes the Cameo and the local scene in the 80s: "Growing up in South Florida during the 1980s was a heady experience for anyone with alternative inklings. Against the backdrop of endless blue skies, genteel faded pastel jewel box buildings, midnight porch-sitting elderly, and relentless heat tempered with hope, beat the heart of the underground music world known as the Cameo Theater. And undeniably, the intense rhythm of that Miami Beach heartbeat was everyone's favorite local band, the Drills. Most of the great hardcore punk bands such as Black Flag, Ramones, and Dead Kennedys came to play in this tiny, decrepit hot pink and lime-green art deco throwback and as an opening band, the Drills were a huge part of the burgeoning all-ages movement".

The Temple House is a private event space in the South Beach area of Miami, Florida, United States. Designed by L. Murray Dixon, it was once the largest single family residence in the city. The Temple House is frequently used as a location for music videos, including One Direction's "Best Song Ever" and Lumideea and Pitbull's "Crazy".

Casa Casuarina, also known as the Versace Mansion, is an American property built in 1930, renowned for being owned by and the place of the murder of the Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace; he lived there from 1992 until his death in 1997. It is located at 1116 Ocean Drive in the South Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach, Florida, in the Miami Beach Architectural District. Since 2015, it has been adapted into and operates as a luxury boutique hotel known as The Villa Casa Casuarina.

The Warsaw Ballroom, or more commonly referred to simply as "Warsaw" was a gay night club located in South Beach, Florida, at Collins Avenue and Espanola Way. It had previously borne that name when it was a dance club for seniors. Then it changed hands, becoming the "Ovo" and the "China Club" before reverting again to the "Warsaw," but this time as a gay club. In 1989 Andrew Delaplaine took over the lease on what had been the China Club and renamed the club the "Warsaw Ballroom". In 1989 David Padilla was offered the resident DJ spot at the reincarnated Ovo, which would soon become (Warsaw Ballroom). The Warsaw Ballroom went out of business in 1999 and Jerry's Famous Deli replaced it.

The Wolfsonian–Florida International University or The Wolfsonian-FIU, located in the heart of the Art Deco District of Miami Beach, Florida, is a museum, library and research center that uses its collection to illustrate the persuasive power of art and design. For fifteen years, The Wolfsonian has been a division within Florida International University. The Wolfsonian's two collections comprise approximately 180,000 pieces from the period 1885 to 1945 — the height of the Industrial Revolution until the end of the Second World War — in a variety of media, including: furniture; industrial-design objects; works in glass; ceramics; metal; rare books; periodicals; ephemera; works on paper; paintings; textiles; and medals. The museum is an affiliate within the Smithsonian Affiliations program, sharing affiliation with the Frost Art Museum.The countries most strongly represented are Germany, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United States. There are also significant holdings from a number of other countries, including Austria, Czechoslovakia, France, Hungary, Japan, and the former Soviet Union. Among the collection's strengths are: the British Arts & Crafts movement; Dutch and Italian variants of the Art Nouveau style; American industrial design; objects and publications from world's fairs; propaganda from the First and Second World Wars and the Spanish Civil War; New Deal graphic and decorative arts; avant-garde book design; and publications and design drawings relating to architecture.

The Roxy Theater is a former movie theater located at 1527 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida. In 1994, the Roxy was converted into an adult nightclub and renamed Club Madonna. It is owned and operated by theater and nightclub proprietor and former Broadway theater producer Leroy Griffith.

Flamingo/Lummus (often called either Flamingo or Lummus) is an urban neighborhood of South Beach in the city of Miami Beach, Florida, United States. Named for the famed Flamingo Hotel of the early 20th century, it is located in the eastern portion of the main island the city occupies. It is roughly bound by Lincoln Road to the north, 5th Street to the south, Biscayne Bay and Alton Road to the west, and Ocean Drive and Lummus Park to the east.

South Beach, also nicknamed colloquially as SoBe, is a neighborhood in Miami Beach, Florida. It is located east of Miami between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The area encompasses Miami Beach south of Dade Boulevard. This area was the first section of Miami Beach to be developed, starting in the 1910s, due to the development efforts of Carl G. Fisher, the Lummus Brothers, and John S. Collins, the latter of whose construction of the Collins Bridge provided the first vital land link between mainland Miami and the beaches. The area has gone through numerous artificial and natural changes over the years, including a booming regional economy, increased tourism, and the 1926 hurricane, which destroyed much of the area. As of 2010, 39,186 people lived in South Beach.
