Odessa is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pasco County, Florida, United States. The population was 3,173 at the 2000 census and more than doubled to 7,267 in 2010. Northwest of Tampa, Odessa had been an area of open spaces, ranching, and horse properties. More recently it has seen many suburban property developments as Tampa's population expands.

Lake Fern is an unincorporated community in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States. Although a separate community, it is a part of the census-designated place (CDP) of Keystone. The ZIP code for the community is 33556. In 2000, it was part of the Citrus Park-Fern Lake [sic] census county division (CCD), which recorded an estimate population of 117,574 in 2007.

George M. Steinbrenner High School is a public high school in Lutz, Florida. It is located adjacent to McKitrick Elementary and Martinez Middle School. The school was named in honor of late New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner, a Tampa resident.Steinbrenner opened August 25, 2009, with about 1600 students.

Brooker Creek Headwaters Nature Preserve is located in northwest Hillsborough County, Florida and is managed by the Southwest Florida Water Management District. The 1,111-acre (4.50 km2) area is located at 18102 Ramblewood Road in Lutz, Florida and offers hiking opportunities. It protects wetlands and headwaters of the Brooker Creek watershed.

Sunlake High School is a public high school in Pasco County, Florida, located off Sunlake Boulevard and State Road 54 in Land O' Lakes, Florida. It is adjacent to Charles S. Rushe Middle School, both of which opened on August 20, 2007. Sunlake did not open with a senior class. It relieved overcrowding at Land O' Lakes High School and J.W. Mitchell High School. By the 2008–09 school year, Sunlake students formed all four classes, 9th–12th grades. Its first principal was Angela Stone (2007–2010).

Starkey Wilderness Preserve is a public recreation and nature conservation area located in Pasco County, Florida. The park includes a system of hiking, bicycling, and equestrian trails, cabins and primitive camping sites, and picnic areas. It is named after Jay B. Starkey, a cattle rancher who bought the property in 1937 and later donated hundreds of acres. The Preserve consists of three tracts: the Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park, managed by Pasco County, and Serenova Tract and the Anclote River Ranch Tract, managed by Southwest Florida Water Management District. The area includes sections of pine flatwoods, cypress domes, freshwater marshes, stream and lake swamps, sandhill and scrub over a combined 8,500-acre (34 km2) "wetland ecosystem spread throughout approximately 18,000 acres of conservation lands". The park is located in Western Pasco County east of New Port Richey. The park includes the Starkey Trail, an approximately 6.7 mile paved multi-use trail that links up with the Suncoast Trail at its eastern terminus. There are also unimproved trails in the park. An 8-mile mountain bike trail was approved and being developed as of 2013.

Keystone is an unincorporated census-designated place in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States. The Keystone area was first settled in the middle 1800s by the W.M. Mobley Family who migrated from Savannah, Georgia. The region has evolved from citrus and farming into a rural retreat of many lake homes and ranches. The population was 24,039 at the 2010 census, up from 14,627 at the 2000 census. The ZIP Codes encompassing the CDP area are 33556 and 33558.

River Ridge is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Pasco County, Florida, United States. Its population was 4,702 as of the 2010 census.

J. W. Mitchell High School (also called Mitchell or JWMHS), is a public high school in Trinity, Florida, located next to Seven Springs Middle School. Its current principal is Jessica Schultz. It is one of the largest schools in the Pasco County Schools district. The school opened on August 14, 2000.

Trinity is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pasco County, Florida, United States. The population was 10,907 in 2010, according to the most recent census. The Trinity Community is named after Trinity College of Florida, a Bible college founded in 1932, when it relocated to the first occupied site in the communities developed by James Gills in the late 1980s. The main plaza is found near the high school, known as Mitchell Ranch Plaza. Trinity is located at the junction where Pasco, Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties meet. The community of Longleaf is located in Trinity and it is believed that the “Welcome Plank” originated in Longleaf.
