Ovrya

Messatida (Greek: Μεσσάτιδα) is a former municipality in Achaea, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Patras, of which it is a municipal unit. The seat of the municipality was in Ovrya. It is located south of Patras city centre, and stretches from the urbanized plains near the Gulf of Patras to the Omplos hills in the east. The population was 13,852 in 2011. It has an area of 66.366 km².Messatida was named after the ancient Achaean town Mesatis, according to local legend the place where Dionysus was reared.

Lefka (Greek: Λεύκα, meaning: poplar) is a neighbourhood in the southern part of the Greek city of Patras, 5 km (3.1 mi) directly and 6 km (3.7 mi) south via road from downtown. It was originally called "Botovayia" ("Μποτοβάγια" in Greek). Lefka is linked with the Akti Dymaion (GR-9/E55 - Patras-Pyrgos-Kyparissia) and Akrotiriou Street (GR-3 - Patras-Tripoli southbound), Evias Street, Iteon Street and Lefkas Street. Lefka's residents work in agriculture, and the remainder work on other businesses.

Demenika (Greek: Δεμένικα) is a village/suburb in the municipality of Patras, Achaea, Greece. It lies 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) south of the city centre, south of the river Glafkos. It is part of the community of Saravali within the municipal unit of Messatida. It is 2 km northeast of Ovrya and 4 km east of Paralia. The population was 2,783 in 2011. The Greek National Road 33 (Patras - Tripoli) passes through the village, and the new Greek National Road 9 (Patras - Pyrgos) passes south of the village.

Zarouchleika or Zarouchlaiika (Greek: Ζαρουχλέικα or Ζαρουχλαίικα), official name Glafkos, is a large suburb with a population of approximately 50,000 residents, located about 3 km south from the city centre of Patras, Greece. The main streets of Zarouchleika are the coastal road Akti Dymaion and Antheias Street. The OSE's railway from Patras to Pyrgos passes west of Zarouchleika.

Iteon railway station (Greek: Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Ιτέων, romanized: Sidirodromikos Stathmos Iteon) is a railway station on Iteon Road in Patras, Peloponnese, Greece. The station is on the former Patras–Kyparissia line and is served by Proastiakos Patras Services.

Panagitsa (Greek: Παναγίτσα) is a small stream in the south of the Patras area in northcentral Achaea, Greece. The source of the Panagitsa is on the western slope of the mountain Omplos, near Omplos Monastery. It flows northwest along the villages Krini and Ovrya. It flows into the Gulf of Patras in Paralia.

Kallithea (Greek: Καλλιθέα, before 1981: Καλλιθεόκαμπος - Kallitheokampos) is a community in the suburbs of Patras in Achaea, Greece. It is located 9 km south of downtown Patras, on the Greek National Road 33 to Tripoli. The community consists of the villages Kallithea and Ano Kallithea, and is part of the municipal unit Messatida within the municipality of Patras. The nearest villages are Ovrya to the north and Thea to the west. To the east lies the mountain Omplos.

The Glafkos (Greek: Γλαύκος, romanized: Gláfkos; Latin: Glaucus) is a small river in the city of Patras, Greece. It flows into the Gulf of Patras (Ionian Sea) in Patras south of the city centre. It is 26.3 km (16.3 mi) long.A hydroelectric power plant was built on this river in 1927. Currently, it is open to the public as a museum. Its source is in the southern part of the mountain Panachaiko, near the village Vetaiika. It flows along the villages Moira and Neo Souli, and through the southern part of the city of Patras.

Begoulaki (Greek: Μπεγουλάκι) is the popular name of a neighbourhood in the city of Patras. The name is originally derived from Bey Ulak, a Turkish landlord who lived in the area during the Ottoman period. Today, the official name is Myloi (Μύλοι) even though other people kept the toponym Begoulaki. The current neighborhood was named "Myloi" before the Ottoman era, but the Byzantine chronographer G. Frantzis referred to it as "Mylous". The area was made into a military base by Constantine XI Paleologus during his siege of Patras as the despot of Mystras. It was also the place where Constantine married his first wife. Shortly after the Greek Revolution, the area had many mills from which it received its name. The Roufos family lived in the area, as well as members from the Kollas clan.

Koukouli (Greek: Κουκούλι, meaning "cocoon") is a neighbourhood in the city of Patras, Achaea, Greece.
