Southview is a census-designated place located in Mount Pleasant and Cecil Townships in Washington County in the state of Pennsylvania. Southview is located in northern Washington County along Southview Road, within a mile of Pennsylvania Route 50. As of the 2010 census the population was 276 residents.

Westland is a census-designated place that is located in Mount Pleasant and Chartiers Townships in Washington County in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the United States.

The Montour Trail is a multi-use recreational rail trail near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was formerly the Montour Railroad. It has a mostly crushed limestone with partially asphalt surface, appropriate for bicycling, walking, running, and cross-country skiing. Eventually, this trail segment will extend 47 miles (76 km) from Coraopolis, Pennsylvania to Clairton, Pennsylvania. The trail is part of a 204-mile (328 km) rails to trails project between Pittsburgh and Cumberland, Maryland that makes up part of a 400-mile (640 km) trail system between Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C., known as the Great Allegheny Passage.

Cecil Township is a township in Washington County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a suburb in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The population was 14,585 at the 2020 census. The township contains the Southpointe suburban business park; companies based there include Ansys, Consol Energy, Millcraft Industries and Mylan. Cecil Township is served by the Canon-McMillan School District.

McAdams (also known as Montour No. 9) is an unincorporated community in Robinson Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, United States. McAdams is located at the intersection of Pennsylvania Route 980 and North Branch Road, 2.2 miles (3.5 km) west-northwest of McDonald. The community is a coal town which was the site of the Pittsburgh Coal Company's Montour No. 9 mine, which closed in 1954. The Montour Trail passes through the community, as did a branch of the Montour Railroad during the mine's operation.

Muse is a census-designated place located in Cecil Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. The community is located in northern Washington County north of the borough of Canonsburg. As of the 2010 census the population was 2,504 residents.

Stephenson–Campbell House, also known as the Stephenson–Campbell Property and the Stephenson Log House, is a historic site in Cecil, Pennsylvania containing four contributing buildings. Included are a 1778 log house, a 1929 Sears and Roebuck Company mail order bungalow style house, a 1929 spring house, and a 1928 garage. The log house is 16 feet by 34 feet, with several additions totaling about 1360 square feet. The log house is one of the few pre-1780 log houses still standing in Western Pennsylvania, and the only known example of a single story private home still extant in the area.The property is also significant as one of the few examples of the conservation movement in Washington County, Pennsylvania. The restoration of the old log house starting in 1928, and a carefully planned garden design in 1929, are the only known example of a "back to nature" single family log house retreat established in the area in the 1920s.The property on which the log house was built was owned by David Stephenson, who held Tomahawk rights until his claim was legitimized in 1786. The property passed through several owners until a portion, including the log house, was purchased by J. Sherman Campbell in 1928. The log cabin, which had fallen into disuse by the last quarter of the 19th century was restored and is still in use by the Campbell family.The site is designated as a historic residential landmark/farmstead by the Washington County History & Landmarks Foundation, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Bulger is a census-designated place in Smith Township, Pennsylvania. A suburb of Pittsburgh, Bulger's 2020 census population was 379 residents. Bulger was a coal mining town and was the birthplace of football player Doug Russell. and home to Kyle Golik, a national football columnist and member of the Football Writers Association of America. Among the companies located in Bulger were the Pittsburgh Coal Company, the Bulger Block Coal Company, and the Verner Coal & Coke Company.
