Yeshiva V'Kollel Beis Moshe Chaim is an Orthodox yeshiva and a kollel located in Miami Beach, Florida. Its rosh yeshiva is Rabbi Yochanan Zweig, an alumnus of Ner Israel Rabbinical College. It is also known as the Talmudic University of Florida. The yeshiva is located at a converted Howard Johnson on the corner of Alton Road and 41st Street. The yeshiva building now houses the mechina, yeshiva and kollel.

In 1979, Miami Beach's Art Deco Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Art Deco District is the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world and comprises hundreds of hotels, apartments and other structures erected between 1923 and 1943. Mediterranean, Streamline Moderne and Art Deco are all represented in the District. The Historic District is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the East, Lenox Court on the West, 6th Street on the South and Dade Boulevard along the Collins Canal to the North. The movement to preserve the Art Deco District's architectural heritage was led by former interior designer Barbara Baer Capitman, who now has a street in the District named in her honor.

Bayshore is a neighborhood of Mid-Beach in the city of Miami Beach, Florida, United States. It is located in the center portion of the main island that the city occupies. Originally built around Carl Fisher's Bayshore Golf and Country Club, with a course designed by H.C. Tippet which opened in 1923, the area is roughly bound by the Collins Canal to the south, 41st Street to the north, Indian Creek to the east, and Biscayne Bay to the west. The neighborhood is characterized largely by single family homes and municipal uses (Miami Beach Golf Club, Miami Beach High School, Scott Rakow Youth Center).

The Forge is a famous nightclub / restaurant on Arthur Godfrey Road in the city of Miami Beach, Florida. First opened in the 1920s, it was purchased and remodeled in the late 1960s by Alvin Malnik. It was a well-known hangout for both celebrities and organized crime figures.In 1977, Meyer Lansky's stepson, Richard Schwartz, was charged with the murder of his drinking companion, Craig Teriaca, in the bar at The Forge. The shooting reportedly occurred after the two argued over a $10 bill. Schwartz was killed a few months later in what police assumed to be a revenge killing. A lawsuit by Teriaca's widow against The Forge, alleging that the restaurant had provided inadequate security, ended in a mistrial in 1980.A serious fire closed the restaurant for three months in 1991. The following year, the restaurant's extensive wine collection was severely damaged in Hurricane Andrew; this led to an extended and well-publicized legal battle between the restaurant and its insurers over the value of the collection, eventually settled in 1997 by a $2.75 million payment.Al Malnik's son Shareef Malnik now owns and controls The Forge; it remains a well-known location for Miami night life. The restaurant closed in 2009 for a year-long renovation, and reopened in 2010 with a redesigned interior by Francois Frossard.

Miami Beach Senior High School (Beach High, MBSH) is a secondary school located at 2231 Prairie Avenue Miami Beach, Florida, across from the Miami Beach Convention Center and Botanical Garden. It is located at the corner of Prairie Avenue and Dade Boulevard. The school is in Miami-Dade County and is part of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the fourth-largest school district in the United States. In addition, Miami Beach Senior High is the second oldest in Miami-Dade County (after Miami Senior High School). In 2009, the school was recognized as a magnet school. In 2010, Miami Beach Senior High was recognized as an International Baccalaureate World School, meaning a select group of students get to attend a two-year program that allows them to graduate with a special diploma. The school was the first in the city of Miami Beach to receive the designation.

Casa Faena, on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida, is a hotel built in 1928. It was designed by prolific local architect Martin L. Hampton, who also designed Miami Beach City Hall and who "was a master of the Mediterranean Revival style". It was opened as an apartment building named El Paraiso Apartments, originally with two hotel rooms and 18 apartment units.The property was leased by the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a Mediterranean Revival-style contributing building in the Collins Waterfront Architectural District, with indication that it was completed in 1930. Other buildings designed by Hampton in the district include the La Corona Apartments (1923) at 2814 Collins Avenue, Hampton Court (1924), and the Embassy Hotel (1935) at 2940 Collins Avenue.The hotel now has 50 guest rooms and suites. It has been listed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as a member of the Historic Hotels of America since 2015.

The Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club is a historic U.S. hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. It is located at 3925 Collins Avenue. On October 5, 2005, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).It was designed by architect Roy France. A 1956 addition was designed by Melvin Grossman. It is also a contributing building in the NRHP-listed Collins Waterfront Architectural District. It has been used as a hotel except for three years from 1942 to 1945 when it was leased by the United States military.It is built of concrete block with a stucco finish, atop a wood piling and concrete slab foundation.The hotel was part of Courtyard by Marriott for a number of years and was named Courtyard Cadillac Miami Beach/Oceanfront. It closed in September 2017 for major renovations by its owners, Hersha Hospitality Trust and reopened in August 2018 as an Autograph Collection by Marriott hotel, with 357 guest rooms, two pools, meeting spaces, a bar and restaurants.

The Miami Beach Botanical Garden is a 2.6 acres (1.1 ha) urban green space in Miami Beach, Florida founded in 1962. It was transformed in 2011 with a $1.2 million landscape renovation designed by South Florida landscape architect Raymond Jungles. The new landscape showcases native Florida plants and trees including bromeliads, palms, cycad, orchids and many others. There is a Japanese garden, native garden and bioswale, and water gardens including ponds, fountains, and a wetland with mangrove and pond apple trees. The renovation also expanded the Great Lawn area for corporate and social events, established a plant nursery and event plaza, and enhanced the night-time lights, entrance gate, and pathways. The Garden offers free admission and is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
