Miami Beach is a coastal resort city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Miami metropolitan area of South Florida. The municipality is located on natural and human-made barrier islands between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, the latter of which separates the Beach from the mainland city of Miami. The neighborhood of South Beach, comprising the southernmost 2.5 sq mi (6.5 km2) of Miami Beach, along with Downtown Miami and the PortMiami, collectively form the commercial center of South Florida. In 1979, Miami Beach's Art Deco Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Art Deco District is the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world and comprises hundreds of hotels, apartments and other structures erected between 1923 and 1943. Mediterranean, Streamline Moderne and Art Deco are all represented in the District. The Historic District is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the East, Lenox Court on the West, 6th Street on the South and Dade Boulevard along the Collins Canal to the North. The movement to preserve the Art Deco District's architectural heritage was led by former interior designer Barbara Baer Capitman, who now has a street in the District named in her honor.

The Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club is a historic U.S. hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. It is located at 3925 Collins Avenue. On October 5, 2005, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).It was designed by architect Roy France. A 1956 addition was designed by Melvin Grossman. It is also a contributing building in the NRHP-listed Collins Waterfront Architectural District. It has been used as a hotel except for three years from 1942 to 1945 when it was leased by the United States military.It is built of concrete block with a stucco finish, atop a wood piling and concrete slab foundation.The hotel was part of Courtyard by Marriott for a number of years and was named Courtyard Cadillac Miami Beach/Oceanfront. It closed in September 2017 for major renovations by its owners, Hersha Hospitality Trust and reopened in August 2018 as an Autograph Collection by Marriott hotel, with 357 guest rooms, two pools, meeting spaces, a bar and restaurants.

Casa Faena, on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida, is a hotel built in 1928. It was designed by prolific local architect Martin L. Hampton, who also designed Miami Beach City Hall and who "was a master of the Mediterranean Revival style". It was opened as an apartment building named El Paraiso Apartments, originally with two hotel rooms and 18 apartment units.The property was leased by the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a Mediterranean Revival-style contributing building in the Collins Waterfront Architectural District, with indication that it was completed in 1930. Other buildings designed by Hampton in the district include the La Corona Apartments (1923) at 2814 Collins Avenue, Hampton Court (1924), and the Embassy Hotel (1935) at 2940 Collins Avenue.The hotel now has 50 guest rooms and suites. It has been listed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as a member of the Historic Hotels of America since 2015.

Bayshore is a neighborhood of Mid-Beach in the city of Miami Beach, Florida, United States. It is located in the center portion of the main island that the city occupies. Originally built around Carl Fisher's Bayshore Golf and Country Club, with a course designed by H.C. Tippet which opened in 1923, the area is roughly bound by the Collins Canal to the south, 41st Street to the north, Indian Creek to the east, and Biscayne Bay to the west. Yeshiva V'Kollel Beis Moshe Chaim is an Orthodox yeshiva and a kollel located in Miami Beach, Florida. Its rosh yeshiva is Rabbi Yochanan Zweig, an alumnus of Ner Israel Rabbinical College. It is also known as the Talmudic University of Florida. The yeshiva is located at a converted Howard Johnson on the corner of Alton Road and 41st Street. The yeshiva building now houses the mechina, yeshiva and kollel.

Indian Creek is a partly natural and partly man-made waterway in the city of Miami Beach, Florida, United States. It starts as a man-made canal where Biscayne Bay meets Lincoln Road, and runs along Dade Boulevard, forming the boundary between South Beach and the rest of the city. At 24th street the canal opens into the natural waterway and continues north through the city past Allison Island where it opens into Biscayne Bay, until 71st Street where it merges with Normandy and Tatum Waterways and is no longer called Indian Creek. The barrier island touts only 40 waterfront property parcels arranged around an ultra private 18-hole golf course which is why it is referred to as the Billionaire Bunker. Southbound is named Indian Creek Drive wherever the road runs along the creek.
