Ebina Station

Ebina (海老名市, Ebina-shi) is a city located in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.As of 1 June 2021, the city had an estimated population of 136,312 and a population density of 5100 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 26.69 square kilometres (10.31 sq mi).

The Sagami Kokubun-ji (相模国分寺) is a Buddhist temple in the city of Ebina, Kanagawa, Japan. It is the provincial temple ("kokubunji") of former Sagami Province. The grounds of the temple are a National Historic Site. and its Kamakura period Bonshō is an Important Cultural Property. The temple was destroyed and rebuilt several times over its long history, and much of its documentary history has been lost. It now belongs to the Kōyasan Shingon-shū sect.

While the name "Atsugi" is often associated with the United States Navy base named Naval Air Facility Atsugi, the base is actually not in Atsugi, but straddles the border between the nearby cities of Ayase and Yamato.
